Well shoot, I should have done a youtube search. Did a quick google search and found nothing. That's cool. Looks like a audiophile grade player, yes? 😀 The guy who posted the vid was asked what its used for? he says it is often used at barn square dances. No wonder I've never seen one, not had the pleasure of barn dancing.

This ad can be a good indicator for a potential buyer to see how they might move once the desire to resell them arises, unless they are going to be kept forever. They are at about half retail at the moment, which is a good buy for used audio gear. If they sit on Audiomart unsold, they may do the same down the road as well. Just something to contemplate.

I would be a bit nervous about that as well. How about the KISS method, 'Keep it simple" A nice "Lak" from Ikea, for instance. 😀 Or something similar and better. My two cents. Tell the seller you just want a refund. The seller will file a claim through Fed-Ex. They will come and pick it up and he will refund you, then find another. -

I found an crappy online manual and also perused it. Didn't see anything about a dimmable display either. Bummer.

Does the remote control have a button on it, that might say dimmer or something similar that might adjust the display brightness? I know their A/V receivers do, to give you the option to dim the display or turn it off entirely.

Now and again I record the show BattleBots just for fun and hit the FF til I see something interesting, such as this recent bout. Just for your info, these things can weigh in at 250 and 300 pounds or more. One of them has a flame thrower that took a hit, as you'll see.

That's a big room, having two subs nearfield is a great idea. I would up your game though as far as the choice of subs. Something with 15" or even 18" drivers. Whats your sub budget?
