  1. First I’d swap the speaker wires to make sure it’s the speaker not the amp. Then I’d check the fuse in the one with the issues. After that, open it up and check all internal wiring to make sure everything is connected properly.

    Asteroids and

There’s tons of videos on YouTube about it.
  3. Lol. That member hasn’t been on the forum in over six years. Did you not see the date it was posted???
  4. I use a UMIK/REW/miniDSP HD for my subs. My Sony receiver has some sort of room EQ for the rest of my speakers but I don’t use it.
  5. Any reason why you posted in the section about the Klipsch museum?
  6. I would absolutely keep your current setup. The CDT-5800 are the most popular in-ceiling speaker for Atmos that Klipsch sells.
  7. I agree 100%. In fact, that’s why I have 5 Heresys in my setup. A while back a member on here had Klipschorns and a tiny little KV series center speaker. I have no problem calling someone out on things like that. I’ve always says that a phantom center is infinitely better than shoehorning some tiny little center that is completely mismatched to everything else.
  8. If you stack them on each other it’ll give an additional 6dB of output. 🙂
  9. You can actually use the included sub along with the R-120. The sub that comes with the soundbar connects via Bluetooth and you’d wire the R-120 to the soundbar’s RCA sub out as you stated. Might as well give it a shot. Hopefully they’ll play well together. You’ll probably have to mess around with the output levels on both subs and possibly the phase adjustment on the R-120 but if it were me I’d at least try it.
  10. So you joined just to spam the group? Classy.
  11. Why are you replying that to a thread from 2017?
  12. We’ve had days like that recently here in Minnesota. The air smelled like a variation of an electrical fire.
  13. Click the username and you’ll see they haven’t been back on the forum since the day they posted that.
  14. If you don’t ever plan to do Atmos you might want to get something like the 502S. If you do plan on Atmos at some point go with any RP bookshelf model.
  15. Modern surround systems should use direct radiating speakers like the 600M instead of wide dispersion like the 502S. In a 5.1 setup your surrounds should be to your side or very slightly behind you facing you. A 7.1 setup adds rear surrounds behind you.
  16. Same. I’ve gone through more speakers over the years than I care to admit. But, to me my current setup sounds the best I’ve ever had.
