  1. Had to read up on this, research shows that 1 in 3 Americans have insulin resistance. I thought I was good having my glucose levels checked.

  3. Sometimes I wonder if I misinterpreted this concept. One trainer says I don't have enough carbs and another says I don't have enough protein and a third says I'm over thinking it. I strive for around 2700 calories, lift weights 5 days a week with cardio. I enjoy long runs, so I add that to the beginning of the week amd the end of the week. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk
  4. I don't know how to explain it, but scenes like this bring out the emotions in me. There are rail yards around me, but I can't really say I grew up around them. But seeing photos like the one you shared makes me feel at home, like this explains my life for some reason. I don't know, kind of weird. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk
  5. I use EAC for ripping CDs. https://www.exactaudiocopy.de/ And ROON for my HI Res audio. I purchase hi res audio from HD Tracks. You need a PC of some sort for ROON core, but will then be able to control via phone app. I stream to my marantz AVR in my living room, but use a Raspberry PI with Volumio for my theater room and zone audio. G With your new setup you may want to consider one of the Bluesound Nodes. There is a thread in the lounge section that covers some good details about streaming. I'll see if I can dig it up. 6. Ketosis, why the keto diet is a huge hit right now. Great to get off the junk, but need to find something more sustainable.
  7. There's a lot going on here, but I will give it my 2 cents. There are alot of things I agree with Mark about, such as the poor American Standard diet, etc. I tracked my macros about 2-3 years ago and check them regularly. I target 1-1.5 grams of protein, 1-1.5 grams of carbs, and less than 1 gram of fat per body weight. I'm at 200 lbs steady for 2 years, but also lift weights 4 times a week and run 2 times a week. One thing to keep in mind, its not about weight, its about how I feel in general, but more importantly how I look naked. There are good carbs and bad carbs, bad carbs such as refined carbs, like sugars, etc. My carbs are lower on the glycemic index, mainly because when I have russet potatoes and white bread, I need to take a nap. So sweet potatoes, Steel cut oats, etc. Now I do have fruit after my work outs as they are great energy source and fast digesting, this is supposed to allow the body to use protein more effectively. At least a gallon a water a day I eat 7-8 times a day depending on the day, pre work out, post work out/breakfast, mid morning snack, lunch, mid afternoon snack, dinner, snack and vitamins before bed. I agree about the least amount of sugar if any, along with artificial sweeteners. However, there are studies that show that some of these in small amounts may not have effect. However, with diabetes and high blood pressure running ramped in my family, I stay away. I will have dairy, but don't drink milk, I don't understand our obsession with not only drinking milk after being weaned from our mothers, but drinking milk form another animal. At 40 my doctor is very pleased with my blood work, blood pressure, cholesterol levels, glycemic levels, etc. I am not a doctor nor do I play one, just my 2 cents, YMMV. I believe everyone needs to find their own way and do what works for them. This is what works for me.

    SC Estate Sale

I know Panacea had experimted with some builds, but I thought he purchased these golden Jubilees which were one of 2 pairs made. Both made from someone close to PWK? Yes, technically a clone, but I thought a close built with respect from PWK. Is anyone good at digging up old threads? I want to think that Claude knows something about these. The @ isnt pulling up his name, so if someone can tag him, he may know more about the story. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk

Location of Youthmans visit appears to be exact. Those maybe the original Golden Jubilees, there may be a good back story to them. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk
  11. According to the manual they are both XLR and RCA. I know PHT likes those Cyrus as they had mentioned, I also believe that they used some hi end Rotel power amps when at the audio show in Chicago. Not sure if that was by design or just what was available. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk
  12. I believe you can create a build sheet within Mouser's web site and export to Excel and post it here. Its been awhile, but I did something like this for either the Little Darling or the Little Spud.
  13. I think this is a great deal for RF5s. Unfortunately I don't have a need or I'd be all over these. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/437822661722318/?ref=facebook_story_share Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk
  14. We had a lot of problems with AMC+, I wonder if the ISP has anything to do with it? Paramount + seems to be fine so far, at least I get my Beavis and Butthead fix.
  15. Even if someone works for themselves out of the home, this is still a pretty low rate in my opinion. How do the Edcor's compare price and quality wise? If someone is planning on building later down the road, maybe a 2 month wait is worth it?
  16. I think you missed my point. Take a plane trip to a location such asNew York city, Cincinnati, LA, anywhere. Stay over a couple nights and spend a day auditioning. I live in Nebraska, if I was going to buy Jubilees, I would fly/drive to PHT and audition. One could also get on every forum to search for a private owner that would be willing to let you visit. I think it would be worth the investment, plus the bonus of the trip. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk
  17. I would reach out to their internet provider that the new division is using and see if they can run cable and provide faster service. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk
  18. Even though I did play bass for a while, i can't honestly say I'd consider myself a musician let alone a guitar player. However, I do enjoy collecting gear. With my intention to learn guitar, my first instrument i purchased was a hot pink B.C. Rich Platinum Warlock. I still own that guitar but I can say that I don't think it's been played in 20 years. I'll come back to that story in a minute. So recently I have been sitting on a Ludwig Standard from the late 60s early 70s. It was in pretty rough shape a d considering I was storing it more than playing it, it was time to let her go. Recently I decided to put it up for sale, since it was in rough shape I didn't expect much for it. The gentleman that showed interest was a vintage drum collector and the son of the owner to a local music shop. When he offered a guitar of my choice for a trade, I couldn't pass the deal up. Sunday morning we headed to his father's shop where he opened it up for me to browse. First thing that caught my eye was a Dean ML BBOLT, even had Dimes on the head stock. If you know anything about me, Dimebag Darrell is one of my favorite guitar players who played for my favorite band Pantera. So this was right up my alley, walked out the door that day with a piece I've always wanted. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk
  19. I agree, just my 2 cents, but if I was going to spend $10k on speakers that I wasn't sure I would like, I would spend an additional $1k and take a trip somewhere where I could audition.
  20. Cant go wrong with that.
  21. Awesome, I find that I get great joy from sharing gear with friends. I find that it allows them to experience what I am and gives us something to talk about. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk
