  1. Killer driver from an awesome seller if you wanna go low here ya go! Do not hesitate to buy from Jeff stand up dude that takes great care of his gear.
  2. I have the smaller Traeger it works wonderful the absolute best smoker I have owned. I use it with the igrill Bluetooth meat probe to get perfectly smoked meat everytime. Set the meat temp I want on the app and let the traeger do it's thing while I do mine (consume adult beverages). I should have bought a pellet smoker years ago.
  3. Curious to know what variations of the "lil engine that could" have been released since the original upgrade was introduced in 2006? In addition being this latest version is now 14 years old during this time have there been any electronic/driver improvements? Original statement from the current spec sheet. " In 2006, the Heresy III was upgraded with a more powerful woofer and a bi-wire network as well as midrange and tweeter compression drivers, and features a titanium diaphragm for smooth and accurate de nition. I love my H3's they are real overachievers!!
  4. So who is building one first???

    Wings?

Boneless only as a matter of fact I do not eat meat of the bone.....grosses me out. Weird thing is I can field dress and hack up a deer no problem but something about pulling meat off the bone then eating it turns my stomach every time. please do not revoke my man card lol.
  6. Why did Klipsch discontinue the Klipsch Portable line? I know from talking with Bill H that the KP line evntually morphed into the Ki and KPT lines but why did Klipsch decide to snuff the PA market? My assumption is economics but would like to get the whole story from cradle to grave. Really wish we still had this line today.
  7. Unfortunately this will be very subjective as Bill mentioned above both have strength's and weaknesses. I have the H3 and also own the H1 and have owned the H2. The H3 is better than all the previous versions IMO. However although the H3 does not require a sub IMO, they would benefit from one. I do not and have not owned bookshelfs from the RP line, I hear great things about that little bookshelf. If you like the way they sound add a sub and enjoy them. I've owned several Klipsch speakers but still own 2 pairs of the little Heresy!!
  8. @jtubbs6117 update???????

  10. Very saddened by this. One of the kindest souls I have ever meet.
  11. Thanks Doc and everyone for the comments. Will get the X32 maybe for graduation gift.
  12. Good points. He has been recording his guitar tracks for about a year he enjoys it. I'm just trying to educate myself and to also help him inergrate a live PA rig. It's great father son time and hopefully I will learn something along the way also.
  13. Bump for Frank I just bought a pair of KP's from him. Smooth transaction fast shipping and product as described don't hesitate to buy from him.
  14. Bruce - Thanks for the information I really appreciate you taking the time to educate me.
  15. If I had the funds I would buy him a Behinger X32 but for now just something simple. As far as how large of a mixer will he need nothing big for now. He just wants to be able to use his laptop to run the 456 setup.
  16. I have several crown amps and a QSC PLX series amp and all of them perform great in my home setups. Either would work splitting hairs on which is the best I would say whichever one has the best price.
  17. Work never ends....... very nice shot and a great speaker I have its bigger brother my only complaint with the Three is it does not have a rechargeable battery.
  18. This is interesting I will be checking my second set of 456's for sure since I plan to power them up this time home. Maybe @colterphoto1 knows what say you Michael?
  19. Does anyone know what type of mounting bracket these take?
  20. Looking for advice for my son’s bedroom / recording / live sound setup. After he graduates next year he will be attending CRAS in Gilbert AZ ( http://www.cras.edu/campuses/gilbert-campus/ ). In preparation for that over the last year we have been slowly accumulating gear to support his direction. Although CRAS offers several different audio “cycles” that he will be required to complete currently he is interested in recording arts and live sound. So my wife and I are going to give him a room in the house just for that. The goal will be for him to do simple recording of his guitar playing electric, bass and acoustics having the ability to playback via his monitors or his large PA system. In addition to setting his large PA system up for family get togethers, school events etc etc for music playback via his laptop or ipad. I will list out what equipment he has currently at the end of the post. I think I have just about everything he needs with the exception of a mixer but curious what others have done or would do. How would I have a dual setup that would allow him to say record a guitar track then play it back by either his small jbl monitors or the larger 456 / sub setup or both? Is there anything else needed to support this? I appreciate any and all advice from those that have done this or are currently doing this. List of equipment. Current Recording Setup Apple Macbook with DAW (Pro tools lite, garageband etc) Focusrite scarlet audio interface JBL 305 monitors (powered) Audio technical phones (can’t remember model number) Sure SM58 mic This setup currently works well he can easily record a track and play it back via the small JBL monitors BUT we wanna here those 456's!!
