  1. after I got the final coat of finish on my spkrs, all I have to do is dust once in a while.
  2. since I'm utterly confused aboot this, i'll wait and see what happens. change for changes sake is never good, but I don't think this was done under those parameters. Chad, you can NEVER please everyone. I get the impression you want what you feel is best for this forum. and, for what it's worth, that is good enough for me.
  3. yep......that's what I used for my heresys.
  4. The vast majority of Americans believe it too, across all political spectrums.NASA believes it, NOAA believes it, Based on science. 90 plus percent of the peer reviewed studies on AGW find that warming has occurred and it is man made. The ocean is warming, because it is the heat buffer, and is more acidic in terms of pH due to CO2. The clear step is to reduce carbon emissions. The measurement is CO2 in atmosphere. Levels are not all voluntary, coal burning plants pay a huge carbon tax NOW for not having most efficient scrubbers. There are some people today, I have met them, believe smoking is not harmful because they are 80 and still smoking; don't believe seatbelts are safer; and there are also some who believe we never actually went to the moon. There will always be people outside the mainstream, for whatever reason. How soon and how much the impact will be I guess all is up to debate. I think technology and the environment might converge and be synergistic for a change on this automated vehicle concept. Electric or hybrids that are fully automated seems to be a win-win. Travis again, if what you are saying is true, i believe its laughable....why is so much data falsified and simply untrue?please dont say its untrue, all you have to do is google it. to say man is sooooo powerful to actually change weather is ridiculous! remember the term, global cooling, global warming? its now sunk to climate change....a term that cant be argued! and, so paying a carbon tax makes man made global warming ok? puh-lease!
  5. i wanna first qualify myself as a "nobe." i have never owned khorns. but, i wonder why every owner doesnt enclose the backs. seems to take care of the only constant problem you heat aboot khorns. the problem of sealing them properly in corners.
  6. gee....i wonder what she does for a living.
  7. seems goodly. just for the heck of it, maybe check and see if theres a repair facility inyer area in case you arent able to fix on yer own. good luck.
  8. this from a citizen who never contemplated serving, it would have gotten in the way of my drinking, seriously. the soldiers i thanked seemed to appreciate being thanked. careful though, even the women shake hands like a weightlifter!
  9. yea when i went to bed last night, 2am, "they" said it was gonna start around 1pm........OOOOOOOPS......wrong again.....started around 9am!
  10. it weird, i love the coen bros, but the first time i saw this movie i was disappointed. it took a couple times watching it to really get it. love it now.
  11. nice post. my wife and I contribute to ww also........and we got one of the free blankets, which we proudly display in our lr. it's not much, but we hope it helps. and, selfishly, it sure makes us feel good.
  12. just finished snow blowin the driveway......a partagas black sure made it more enjoyable.....'bout 6" I think. my wife's famous quote..." let's move to the country where there's lots of trees, and a house set way back off the road!" makes for lots of dead leaves, and a real long d/way!
  13. the finish looks really nice.
  14. just curious....what is birch ply selling for in yer neck of the woods?
  15. understandable....as my better half once told me, "you have enjoyed these spkrs, but now its time for someone else to get some enjoyment from them."especially with all the absolutely killer spkrs you have, its got to be hard!
  16. last I heard...maybe 2-3 weeks....they were.
  17. yea......they did yet another '57 chevy.....*yawn*
  18. I thought it was a state wide law in md......wrong again! required here in fredneck also.
  19. Morning guys.Joe that's not good I hate that kind of crapp. When someone brings a car in my shop there will be NO dirt, finger prints or smudges left by me. Some of my customers own $50 Acura RL's and I tell ya one finger print left on there car and they will not be back. Not to blow my own horn.....but my attention to detail is 2nd to none. I'm one of the cleanest mechanics you will ever find, I wash my hands so much I loose count.....if I get really dirty on a job I will change my cloths before I get back in the car. Anyway I don't mean to go off......but how many times have you had to pay for something and the person your dealing just doesn't give a chitt. Let me tell ya when this happens to me I have a secret weapon............it's called my wife.....lol lol. Ok that's enough.....2nd cup down....rolling out to the shop, a good day to all. MKP :-) the best customer is a return customer.
  20. forgot aboot the coen bros. millers crossing and the big lebowski.
