I don't know the answer to your question having never heard a R-115SW. But what I think is sad is you built those beautiful mahogany belles and you're going to pair them with a black sub. Can you hide it?

BTW they are available direct from Jensen, I think I paid around $10 for a set.

What manual did you download? I forget which of Jensen App notes explains them best. I think more than one shows what they are and how to use. They are called dummy plugs. It is late, I can search better tomorrow if you need more help.
