Yes you have an impedance mismatch, this is normal for line level audio signals. Sounds like you are mixing balanced and unbalanced equipment. How is it wired? There are some on this forum that have had no problem mixing the two, others are not so fortunate.

I saw that, thank you Scott. If I'm going to spend $200 for new woofers I'm going to pick up some Eminence Delta pro 12A's as i will be running a sub and dont really need the bass. The Delta's will excel in midrange detail and is a far better replacement for my needs. Maybe something for you to consider as well but not sure it would work as a direct replacement in your KLF-30's. Jason, Erich at DIYSoundGroup has had Eminence come up custom 12" driver for midbass.
