lol why? any big pro amp has fans. I just dont get why a fan would matter. A separate amp can be remoted to a utility room or equipment closet. I just don't like fan noise or any other noise for that matter. When there is no signal there should be silence. Hey its just me OK.

If worried about noise just short your unused inputs to ground. If worried about dirt, I like minermarks rubber caps. If shorting an unused input to ground causes this your amp/preamp/receiver is not stable and you have larger fish to fry.

Is the pulsing the sound of your own heartbeat? I am just curious because sometimes that happens to me when I put my head down on the pillow at bedtime. Most times I just try to ignore it or turn my head over to the other side(ear). Never really been able to figure out what causes it. Don't think its my age cuz its been happening for like 30 years.

I myself would not worry too much about the charge on speaker crossover caps. But if you think some malcontent has charged them up to a high voltage just to shock you, you could connect a small value (10-20 ohms) resistor between the input terminals, and separate resistor to the output terminals(the speaker voice coils should do just fine).

Parts Express also has them at the same price with free shipping and free life-time tech support. Yea except they don't REALLY have them. And its OK cuz I'm in no rush, B and C will get their production back up I presume.
