---Yeah , I was just kidding seeing the JBL cabs ---- but they sure seem to be a great fit with the K402 ---JBL makes some real fine woofers , if not some of the best , they do have a punchy bass -

it's not easy to get Established in Beverly Hills , that's a very niche market -

kinda like the movie -----It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World

I would not worry about it , since shipping an item in a manufacturer's box should not be interpreted as bad packaging , and they should pay for the insured value of the package
-
does the insurance coverage you added cover the cost of the Preamp's sale value ,
-
in Beverly Hills , 1 client is all it takes to reference you as a contact , since the inner circle is very exclusive -
-
now , that's a sweet deal , no messing with the sanding , and prepping -

CORNWALL IV, an integrated amp and a streamer
OO1 replied to Julien D's topic in 2-Channel Home Audio
----- Sansui --Scot-Yamaha-Crown-SAE-Luxman--Akai-BGW-Rotel -Classe-Pioneer-HK-Denon-Onkyo- Nad -Primaluna-Dynaco , are no slouches either , and the list is endless , if one thing is true is that klpsch speakers are very well adapted to everything out there , and only a few watts are needed , or tons of watts , whether Tubes or SS - PWK 's favorite amp was BGW - In 1978 , when, he was awarded the Audio Engineering Society’s Silver Medal for his contributions to speaker design and distortion measurement.- https://newscenter.nmsu.edu/Articles/view/13333/paul-w-klipsch-museum-at-nmsu-to-hold-open-house-thursday -
these speakers are Heresy 1 as the 1,5 designation was never officially used by klipsch and I agree fully with @MookieStl and @MC39693 --------starting around 83-84 Klipsch switched from the Alnico K55V to the K52H which is a Heppner midrange driver , it is actually an excellent driver , and it sounds great -but most still prefer the ATLAS K55V -PD5VH -ALNICO The K52H was made by Heppner until klipsch bought the tooling from Heppner and made it's own version of the K52H , which was by now called a K53 - the tag would read HERESY 1 ------the H II series used a MDF cabinet that was sealed , and that replaced the K77M with a K76 along with a K24 Woofer and an updated round or square revision crossover ------ the tags on your speakers should be similar to this 1985 HBR , except that the serial number of your speakers are from 1983 based on the tag in the top of the wood cabinet at the rear -

very impressive ,four 6C33C could deliver125 watts/8 ohms , I 'm thinking this is a 25 -30 watts amp x 2 -/ question for you , you are only using 1 power supply in this setup , any advantages versus 2
-
cool amplifier -----really looks like one of a kind ---great work Seti
-
worse is , that you can still pick up Heresy speakers for 500$ with a K55V
-
are you guys also enjoy the wine season , or is it more to the North near SF

yes , San Juan Capistrano is such an evocative name , , whenever we are in Irvine or Anaheim , we drive over to revisit -a truly beautiful area -
-
------the way the speakers are positioned , you would have to be seated on the purple carpet in the middle to hear all the right details , but if you turn the speakers in line with the wall at a slight angle , you should get a wider experience , the ideal speakers for that room would have been Cornwalls imho

San Juan Capistrano is a city in Orange County, California,
