  1. al JAPANESE brands are good , Yamaha is very hard to beat inho-
  2. The Parasound 2250 v.2. is excellent for the CW4 275 watts ----------clean power , the CW4 is rated at 100 watts , and 400 watts peak ----at 100 watts continuous which is slightly lower than 50% output , you will have practically no distortion --it's a perfect fit for adequate headroom -
  3. the bottom measurement was just as good as the top
  4. in my case the Doctor was a Beautiful Blonde , absolutely a NO 10----- 5 foot 10- 36-bust 28 waist gorgeous ---she said , you dont mind if I strip you , I said , no problem , go right ahead ------can I give you a shot to make you feel better , I said , it's getting better and better --whatever you do , dont' stop
  5. let not get carried away here , these are plastic horns , there were never any real complaints for the Chorus Speakers , for bracing or dynamat , but the Cornwall1 , yes , since it is a huge box with metal horns ----now the Chorus speakers are MDF , and each time you remove drivers , you have to be very careful as the material will come out of the screw holes
  6. Wow , these speakers look like Forte III with lambswool fabric and distressed oak --great FIND @Alexander
  7. Correct --the klipsch serial numbers codification charged , starting in 1984 -----for the serial numbers 8446545 and 8446546 -84 is the year -------44 could be the 44th week of the year 1984 ---------so these would be production speakers made on the last week of October 1984 --

  12. right ,it turned by pivoting on the ground , and like a ricochet , it swung back towards you with all it's weight knocking out the ladder and yourself , nothing you could do but get a good wack , that must have hurt , something unreal , I bet you , they had to give you something for the pain -
  13. look , Franckly , @JJkizak said it best and I will second him , oblique walls or not would not stop me from buying kHORNS , you will have to try to find a sweet spot and experiment further ------------I am sure you will still enjoy them , since you have cathedral ceilings , and roofs can have quite a bit of insulation which makes, for a great sound room - -I used to have Lacala Speakers in a very similar layout in an old post and beam house , and I had moved my speakers to the attic which had oblique walls , and the sound was sublime --let your ears be the Judge - not everybody on this forum , has perfect walls -rooms , houses etc ------
  14. I know exactly how you feel , some lose their abilities to walk , from such events , the chainsaw is a very dangerous tool in any case , I am trying not to say anything religious , but , why not , there are exceptions to the Rule , yes , you were Watched Over , and I Thank the Lord
  15. GLWS ----------if they are sold ---------just add sold to the topic subject
  16. I took a fall from a 30+ feet ladder at about 30 feet of height while cutting trees ------she wobbled at the top - I kicked it away and landed on 2 legs , on uneven grass , a very heavy squat , the energy is so strong , you hear every vertebrae lock , the last one locks up your teeth -- the lesson , power lifting helps-
  17. if you fall from a high ladder ----first lesson is always kick the ladder away from your falling trajectory ---2) never , never hook up to a ladder 3) make sure there is grass underneath -----🙃
  18. interesting technology -Prof......-------check the news ---https://www.satellitetoday.com/business/2020/07/13/comtech-wants-out-of-gilat-acquisition/
  19. owners remove the grilles of the speakers , for the copper look , and any contact nudges the woofers very easily and being a Copper cone , there is a permanent mark , or scratch on the surface of the cone , --------yes Copper cone woofers look great , but they are extremely fragile cosmetically --
  20. you can check in the Garage sale ----or the Alerts section -there are such speakers on sale
  21. Out of the box means it is brand new , AND UNDER THE FACTORY WARRANTY if the subwoofer does not power on , then the subwoofer may be Defective DOA ------you would have to require a replacement -
  22. sometimes a weak run capacitor will do that -----but you got a new run capacitor ---all is left is the control board and the relay--or wiring
