Hi all, So it all started with the problem. I have been struggling with a low profile center channel that can keep up with my Jubilees. This has been going on for some time. I've tried lots of stuff...and the list goes on with lots of crazy ideas. So my build started with an idea, to somehow increase the volume of the Belle Bass bin, and somehow keep the same horn flares. So I came up with this idea. So I posted it for opinions and ideas in this thread here https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/152509-belle-bass-section-question/ After some further thought on the topic, I took a stab at this drawing here. Last weekend I went to Lowes and purchased some plywood, nothing special really just plywood. I have all the right tools i need to get this job done. fairly easily. The Cutting started on Monday night after work.

Academy between two 904's? I've only heard the Academy with the LaScala (owned 3 Academy's) and with the LaScala it was a fail. In my opinion, it was an epic fail. If you're going to build a pair, could you build a third but make the third horizontal while incorporating the 510 inside the box, above the woofers? I was going to suggest the same thing.

The highest I have ever had mine turned to is about -30dB. I am using a PS3 as the input source. it is extremely loud, cant do it for long...

Are you limited to this size? why not make it a bit bigger?

I think the first thing I would do is pull the computer out of the mix, and give it some good source material. cd player or something...I agree with other opinions, I wouldn't quite give up on these speakers yet. Edit: Take the KG's and connect them to your system, do a few minutes work on setting them up and let her listen to the KG's one more time.

What are you trying to fix? Or what are you not happy with the Forte's you have? Im with William F. Gil McDermott, if it aint broke dont fix it.

This is interesting. i drove down from Toronto to Florida on $160 in Gas. I drove my toyota down. with this little trick, could be even better on the way back. Gas was quite cheap heading through tennessee. im sure i saw $2.85/gal going through there somewhere. Coyotee, i didnt think i'd ever get to the top of the upper clinch, we just kept going up. 700m above sea level, and the air was thin....lol. Tennessee was a beautiful drive. i'm going to see willland today to pick up my speakers.

again...as i said before, time to close the boarder...
