  1. Yes, but the area that you applied your tape is 4.25" wide.
  2. The K-510 horn and a K-69A driver are 8 inches deep from the back of the horn flange.
  3. I like the look, and logged on to re-order more grill cloth, but the source only has one piece left of that large size, at this time. Time to glue up some wood.
  4. You got me starting to wonder about the idea of finding an existing horn or waveguide with suitable dimensions, and sawing off the small end, so that it might work as an extension on the AMT.
  5. Looking at your pictures, I wonder if you can compromise on the position of the Cornwall so that a few inches sit out front and a few inches extend out the backside of the wall?
  6. You might want to ask for a picture and do more research.
  7. Fold the clamped fabric over the grill frame and use bungee cords to pull the grill cloth tight. Check the front side to make sure the fabric is stretched on evenly and then staple the full perimeter.
  8. Staple down one edge, while the cloth is still being stretched lengthwise. Then using a carpet tack strip to hook the full length of fabric, and evenly draw the opposite side over the frame, then pull tight and staple the second edge.
  9. Made one grill frame for a KPT cabinet. Pre-stretching the grill cloth, using blueprint clamps to hold the edges with bungee cords applying tension.
  10. The tip could be harmless where it sits, but I would want to remove the foreign object so that it can not cause a mysterious hum problem in the future. Should be easy to grab with some needle nose pliers, after unplugging the unit from the wall and removing the top cover and following normal electrical safety procedures.
  11. You have already retrieved this broken tip from inside the power amp, correct, and you removed it while the unit was disconnected from the 120V power?
  12. The side grills are decorative, so it is okay to leave those off until you build new frames and new grill cloth. The important thing is to cut a new panel to attach to the top of the bass bin, covering the space between the cabinet and the wall, if you are lifting up the top section on a pedestal.
  13. You folks who are within reasonable driving distance of Hope have it good.
  14. Here is a picture of the P/N 116682 crossover that is on my KPT-415 bass cabinet. I don't have a schematic. The big cap is 50 uF, the medium cap is 25 uF, the resistor is 25 W 200 Ohm. The inductors are unmarked. The HF wire just passes through the small cap and poly switch, then to a separate HF crossover board.
  15. Yes. Talk to your HVAC contractor about adding a fiberglass insulated flexible duct exhaust tube.
  16. I agree, but on the website, it says they don't want to change the sound.
  17. The lighting and the camera angle create an optical illusion with the backside view of that tweeter horn.
  18. They appear to do good quality restorations, from what I see in their pictures. I hope they rescue, re-finish and re-sell lots of Klipsch speakers.
  19. Maybe a Toslink Optical Selector Switch will serve your purpose.
