The horn brackets are on the road to their supporting role. Do you have enough gaskets?
-
I use one for a home theater set-up. It sounds good and I really like the MCACC Pro room correction. Only possible negative comment is the supplied remote control can't be used to control different brand Blu-ray players, DVDs, etc. but if you use a universal remote, or more than the one remote, that doesn't matter.

No problem at all. I was not aware of the mounting hole offset when you sent them to me. I could have easily had my buddy with a milling machine modify them, but never got around to it, so I have just been storing them for you.
-
I will Priority Mail them to you.
-
Emile, I still have the brackets you gave me. Have not use them yet because the mounting hole offset did not match my non-Klipsch flange. I can drill them out in the future, but for now they are available if you need the brackets for your new 510s.

Mixing 1981 Klipschorns with full house wireless system
Khornukopia replied to ThedukeMW's topic in Personal Music Systems
Listening to your high quality music with the Klipschorns is a great start. -
Measuring will show a lot of good information about the entire audio spectrum in the listening space.
-
No offense intended by my comment above, to all the excellent musicians who use amplifiers. I listen to amplified live music on a frequent basis and I love it as much as I enjoy the purity of sound from an acoustic symphony orchestra.
-
In other words, measurements can help you determine if there are standing waves causing a reduction in low frequency performance.
-
Acoustic instrument musicians will be tuned into the true tones. The others will be hearing most of their music through overdriven studio monitor speakers fed by SS power amps that might not be of audiophile quality.

I can’t do Khorns in this room, right?
Khornukopia replied to MrWongburger73's topic in Technical/Restorations
31 inches of space will only allow you to cram them into those corners, but then the side opening of the bass bin facing the cabinets would be blocked. If you really want Klipschorns, you could attach a rigid partition between the front corner of the bookcase cabinets and the side walls of the room, creating what would be called a "false corner". The empty space behind could be used for storage of things that don't rattle. -
Nitrogen gas also does not promote oxidation that may occur with oxygen rich atmospheric air pumped into the tires.

How do your new compression drivers sound?
-
One of the "features" my friend wanted to experience is AIRPLAY, using his I-Phone as the portable source. Some beginners just want their pleasant sounding music to be convenient.
-
It is a TX-NR 1007. I want to use my Denon out there, but my friend who borrowed that AVR to try its "features" loves the sound and seems to want to keep it.

I am powering my garage Klipschorns with an Onkyo TX-NR AVR because I want a network receiver out there for streaming internet music. It sounds great.

Custom Heresy III to match my Forte III??
Khornukopia replied to Kalifornian's topic in General Klipsch Info
@MetropolisLakeOutfitters might be able to ask the factory for you. -
You may have to use a small thin screwdriver or a box cutter blade to carefully pry out the tiny red and black plastic plugs from the end of the banana jacks, on the back of the speakers.
-
If all your testing doesn't isolate the cause, the windstorm aspect would make me wonder about the possibility there could be a problem with the wiring or transformer that feeds power to your neighborhood.

K402 TAD4002 and Peavey FH1 active blend

These may be the third choice woofer I was referring to above. I borrowed the link from a recent post by @jimjimbo "Eminence Kappa 15C. Their performance in the upper and mid bass area is stellar." https://www.parts-express.com/eminence-kappa-15c-15-driver-4-ohm--290-459 -

Forum member @AHall is selling a pair of K-691 drivers for a good price. They might be better than the D3300Ti.

Bi-Amped K-Horn + K-402 horns w/ KPT-415 woofers

Went to a concert, then drove home and listened to my stereo for a few songs. I really enjoy having Klipschorns in my garage. -
