You should really consider an rc7
  6. Well here is my verdict. ..........I can't tell any difference. Maybe very slightly more punchy at 60hz and 8 ohms. The lascala's do an amazing job at reproducing what I'm looking for. Guess it's just human nature to want more of a good thing. Definetely in my nature. Maybe some horn loaded subs? Quarter pies under the lascala's?
  7. Gonna change the xo to 60 and set ohms to 8. Will let you if any improvement. Thanks guys
  8. I have a Denon AVR4311CI avr. Speakers are, front Lascala's stock. Center RC7. Surround DCM timefreme. Rear surround Klipsch CF1. Subs 2 Klipsch sub 12's. Here is my question. I just realized i can set crossover frequency for each pair of speakers individually. Right now it's 80 hz across the board. Also i can select from 4,6, or 8 ohm. It's set at 6. For the multi channel modes i am satisfied so my question only pertains to 2 channel listening which i prefer for music. Just the lascala's and the subs. i love the way drums sound in some songs like the beginning of money for nothing, just before the guitar solo. Also the low drums in The weight by the band and the drums in Hey you by pink floyd. What i want is more impact on these kinds of drums. Would i benefit from lowering the crossover on the mains? I listen very loud and don't want to damage the woofers in the lascala;s or send frequencies to them they can't play. Also should i go to the 4 ohm setting. I want more dynamics and slam from the types of drums i talked about. Thanks for any help or insight you fine people can provide.
  9. She does have a gun in the nightstand beside the bed. Doesn't do much good if you don't know someone is there though. Yes they caught him. It's a second degree felony. Thanks guys. I know sometimes ppl here disagree but i find most times we can talk and debate like adults and i appreciate that. Btw they won't give another prescription even under these circumstances. I'll live of course just have to hurt for the next 2 weeks. Done it before and i can do it again. Won't be in a very good mood though.
  10. Ironically as i type this I'm at pain management waiting for the doctor to come in. My daughter's ex bf broke into my house last Thursday while my wife was sleeping and stole my pain meds. I'm here with police report to try and get another prescription. I'm sure some of you are thinking yeah likely story. For me i do get tremendous relief from them. It has been a rough week
  11. I bought a used denon avr4311ci and could not be more pleased. Have lascala mains rc7 center and cf1 rears
  12. I saw Boston and Kansas at Orange Beach a few weeks ago and i have a new respect for Tom Sholtz. 68 years old and man he can rock a guitar, electric, acoustic. Amazing keyboard player too.
  13. My work is less than a mile from the base. I get lots of flyovers when they are practicing. Love it

  16. I love to have time for just me and my lascala's and subs to listen to what i want as loud as i want with a few cold beers. good times i tell ya
  17. My experience with my lascala's is dead on what schu recommends
  18. My dogs are exactly the same coytee. In the living room animals always get them stirred up. In the bedroom worth the polk rti600's dogs barking doesn't phase them
  19. For music i agree phantom is better than either 1 of those choices but i use an rc3 worth lascala mains for movies and tv and its fine. No its not able to keep up but boost it and cut the mains and is much better than no center
  20. Most of my life i lived 40 miles south of muscle shoals al. I never knew this existed until about a month ago. I really want to see it. I've passed the fame recording studio many times. It is a fealty cool area lots of history. My sister used to live across the street from the house where Helen Keller lived when she was young
  21. Wife just told me music unlimited will cease to exist march 29th. Its the ps3 music service. I have been very happy with it both with quality and availability of songs. Don't know what i should use noW. Hey a home theatre pc i guess. I like the digital storage don't want to change a bunch of cds or records. I can shuffle all my favorite songs and it's a different mix every time i go to listen
