  1. Lucy. Movie was ok,but lots of ultra low bass for no reason. Very annoying. Other than that sound was good dialogue very clear and easy to understand
  2. Mark personally i do believe the very high priced wires and cables are snake oil. However i also think you have done an excellent job of describing your point of view and i respect you for that. It's impossible for me to know what someone else is hearing or seeing so i get it now. If someone believes that a 1k piece of whatever is worth it to them and what they experience who am i to say they are stupid for buying it.
  3. Prerich is right i bought my lascala's from Dean. Stand up guy
  4. A lot of you will probably disagree with me on this and say im crazy but anyway. I let audyssey run on my system when i got my new receiver denon avr4311ci and when it was done i listened to some music then tried a movie and both sounded horrible. I mean boselike horrible. No bass, no anything but dull sounding midrange that i had to crank to -20 to even be able to discern what was being said. And for sure no dynamics. Room was quiet, mic in 5 different places, no obstruction around mic. I just figured the way i like my system to sound was far from what audyssey considered optimal. I manually adjusted crossover points, eq for each speaker and individual volume levels and it's great as far as my ears are concerned now. The only thing audyssey was close on was the sub crossover points. In fact they may have already been at 80hz which is what i have then at now
  5. Only 30 minutes away from me. I've been unemployed for the last 2 months or i would jump on these with both feet. Broke for the time being though, sucks
  6. I use an ms4r gaming chair. Had it for 5 years and love i . It's made for racing, has mounting pads for steering wheel, pedals, and shifter. Comes with Recaro style adjustable seat. Use a logitech g27 wheel pedal combo with it. Play everyday huge fun and realism for racing games like gran turismo 5,6 all of them. Highly recommend
  7. I was going to just keep this to myself but something happened today to change my mind. I have a 19 yr old autistic son who lives with his mother 5 hours away. I'm unbelieveably happily married for 9 years now to the last woman I'll ever love and yes i am positive on that. My ex called and told me her husband was leaving her, been gone since dec 15th. Well i try not to wish bad things on anyone even someone who made my life a living nightmare, but what really worries me is that my son Chad was very close to Dennis her husband and I'm terrified he will suffer because of this. Needless to say to those of you who are familiar with autism Chad can be very difficult to control when he gets upset about something and i can't stand to think of him feeling that way. Just needed to vent i guess. I know i haven't been a member here all that long but i feel like you guys are like an extended family of sorts and i needed to tell my story.
  8. I don't think he is a forum member but i know him well. Bought my lascala's from him. You can buy with confidence from this guy,he is a fellow Klipsch lover and a good guy. Lives about 45 minutes from me in robertsdale al. I'm in Pensacola
  9. I like them a lot using them as rear surrounds in a 7.2 ht
  10. Agree. Gotta love that fire tornado also
  11. The 1st time i ever heard 901's was right after hearing belles for the 1st time. I always thought i wanted a pair until then. Same amp same room right beside each other. They sounded horrible in comparison at least to my ears. I couldn't afford the belles but my wonderful wife found a way to get me lascala's from the same guy. Appreciate what you have and be thankful that you have the opportunity to enjoy it.
  12. I know this guy. Bought my pair of lascala's from him. I also saw these shinall kks1's while there and they are beautiful. Weren't hooked up so didn't get to hear them. But he is a very cool guy and i trust him absolutely buy with confidence. The bose amps were driving my speakers when i demoed them and sounded fantastic.
  13. I have an rc 3 and i love it very natural sounding not harsh at all
  14. Youthman you paid 2k for all 11 speakers in that photo? You should be ashamed of yourself. Did you have a gun pointed at the guy?
  15. I've heard both and I own lascala's but the belle did sound a tad better to me. However I couldn't afford the extra Grand for the belles and I'm very happy with my choice. With a good sub of two I really can't tell any difference Between them and have no idea what this sidewall buzz he is referring to.
  16. This may be a stupid question but how much if any better is this sub than synergy sub 12? I have two of those and think they do a great job
  17. If he has a sub big enough for even one tenant it must be huge and should produce more than ample bass. JK Youthman couldn't resist
  18. Happens in my auto parts store all the time. I don't see how some of the manufacturers can afford to pay so much for premium product placement
  19. Fwiw I find my lascala's seem less what most people would call harsh or bright with my denon than with the onkyo it replaced. Strange though I guess I had gotten used to it cause I kinda miss that top end sizzle now

    What I Got Today!

I have my new [to me] denon avr4311ci waiting at home for me. Can't wait to hook it up
  21. Lots of people say the jag e type is the most beautiful car ever. I don't see it.
  22. 67 68 Camaro. I actually like the profile of the 69 better but hate those fake vents in front of the rear tire. Smooth those out and that's my favorite body of all time
