Will do! For the last 4 years now, I too enjoy the iced tea! Easier on the soul for me.

Neil Young- Harvest Moon. The entire album is just excellent.

Yeah. I don’t know if it’s just the new market now or people are just now realizing that Chorus, La Scala, etc. sound much better than anything else out there under $1,500 on the used market. I was always amazed when you could pick either of those two speakers up used for under $1,000. Steal!

I saw Dave Matthews 2 weeks ago. It was really nice to see some live music again.

Yeah, I was beginning to wonder if the forum was coming back. Good job!

La Scala Owners: What Kind of Music Sounds Best?

There are a few different ways you can go with subwoofers. I would recommend you listen to them on their own for a while before you make any decisions. You might be surprised. -
La Scala Owners: What Kind of Music Sounds Best?

I love La Scala’s with live music. Doesn’t really matter the genre. -
The Chorus will sound much bigger than the Hersey and Kg4 together. In my opinion either Chorus is a big upgrade.

Now we're talkin'.....KPT 904 outdoors

I have metal grilles on my 942’s. Rockhound set me up with his guy. I was also worried about how it would affect the sound. They’ve been installed for about 5 months now and haven’t noticed any vibration/ negative affects on sound. I’m very happy with the purchase. -
You can’t buy a better pair of speakers for $100. Those were my intro to Klipsch. I think I’ve owned four pair.
-
I’m not sure. I never installed them. The last pair of La Scala’s I had came with the K55-M and I really liked them. I’ve just always wanted to try the K-55V.

I bought these from a forum member a couple months ago to have backups for a pair of La Scala’s. I didn’t end up getting the La Scala’s so these are for sale. They were tested by the previous owner and function properly. They are in excellent physical condition. Pics coming soon. I’m having trouble changing size of them to fit on the forum. $325 shipped. Sold

I managed an outdoor store years ago that sold Thorlo. They are good socks. I’ve been wearing only merino wool socks for the last 20 years. Smartwool was my brand of choice until I found some 2-packs of merino wool socks from LL Bean. They are a lot cheaper and the quality is very good.

Good luck on your sale. The Chorus look very nice!

I bet that combo sounds great. K-402 with a horn loaded low end is unbeatable.

Many prayers to your family. -
It’s hard to beat La Scala’s in any size room.

I didn’t get my old ones back.

I’d like to share a recent transaction I had with forum member jimjimbo. I bought a set of La Scala’s from Jim about 3 months ago on the intentions of picking them up in late April. He let me configure them exactly how I wanted them. He also let me pay with PayPal even though his preferred payment was cash when I picked them up. Last week, another set of La Scala’s were posted in the “garage sale” section. They happened to be my old industrials that I sold last year and have regretted ever since. I noticed Jimbo had made a couple comments about them in the for sale thread, so I sent him a PM letting him know those were my old speakers and answered a question he had about them. Jim sent me a message back and offered to refund my money so I could purchase my old industrials back. Well, while all of this was going on, I was informed that my hours at work would be significantly increasing and would be unable to make a trip out of town for an unknown amount time. I let Jim know my situation and that I probably wouldn’t be able to pick either set of La Scala’s up. He still offered to refund my purchase. I agreed that a refund would be the best option. He refunded my money that day. I offered to pay him for the inconvenience I caused, but he declined. Moral of the story. Jim went above and beyond what he was required to do. He answered numerous questions I’ve had over the last 3 months without any hesitation. He’s been a pleasure to deal with, and most of all, just treated me like a friend. It’s good to know there are still good people out there, and Jim is one of them. Jim, I owe you an apology for tying up a beautiful set of La Scala’s for so long. I’m sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for being so understanding. I owe you one, bud.
