  1. Hi Full Range ! Kraftwerk is very good If you want to discover some pearls I can make you listen to extracts from my vinyls: This one for example Can out in 1970, my Lp vinyl is from 1973 the cover is different from that of 1970. Tell me if you like and I can make you listen to other groups.
  2. Hello ! I see that you like the music of the 70s a lot. I ask myself the question for you in the US: do you listen to Krautrock? These are German music. I have a lot of Lps of this kind. For example Can Future Days of 1973
  3. Bravo Chief for these 4 burst responses, you are in shape today Seriously, thanks for all these precious details πŸ‘
  4. Hi Claude πŸ˜€ I answered well for the current CW IV: 700Hz for the connection between the K33E and the new K-702 according to the documentation of Klipsch, that's why IB Slammin said: With the larger horn I had hoped that it would cross deeper...... https://f072605def1c9a5ef179-a0bc3fbf1884fc0965506ae2b946e1cd.ssl.cf2.rackcdn.com/product-specsheets/Cornwall-2019-Spec-Sheet-v01.pdf
  5. In any case it is very beautiful😍
  6. Here are the first images of the presentation of the Cornwall IV at the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest of Denver, but also Heresy with the new tweeter CWIV, it seems to me that the flag of the medium is new too, but I'm not sure. The base of these Heresy is black too, it's a new riser for the standard series, I do not know if it has already been used for special series. Anyway as much Klipsch has communicated on the new Cornwall IV, as far as I can not find anything on a new Heresy πŸ€” Edit: a priori it is a new Heresy, here is the back, it is no longer close !!! Damned I hope Chief Bonehead worked well, normally yes [/url 😍
  7. Hi, thank you for this report, you are one of the first in the community to have listened to Cornwall IV, lucky man 😎 This confirms that the chef has worked well, the Cornwall IV are certainly better than the old versions I, II and III πŸ‘
  8. Nice installation and thanks Cory πŸ‘
  9. Yes Chief Bonehead is right, my CWIIIs are 2" higher than what is indicated on the CWIII sheet.
  10. Welcome, actually check the connections first. Then if it's not that, you can check your medium compressions and their reference and if physically they are good, you can order a pair of new membranes for your medium compression at Crites or another supplier. The best is to replace both at the same time so that the stereo is homogeneous. https://critesspeakers.com/klipsch_midrange.html https://www.simplyspeakers.com/klipsch-speaker-replacement-diaphragms.html https://reconingspeakers.com/product-category/diaphragms/klipsch-diaphragms/

  12. It's funny, you ride French tires and me, here in France, I mounted American tires on my 911 of 2001: Good Year Eagle F1 Assymetric 3, they are very good tires🀣
  13. to understand look and especially listen to this video, especially around 0: 22s until 0: 28s
  14. Here's another tip if you dismount your K33E, try to gently push the membrane on the side of the dome dust cover: if you hear a sound of rubbing is that the coil rubs in the air gap. If so, you can repair the speaker or change it, if possible make it on the 2 speakers πŸ‘
  15. Welcome here in the Klipsch community. Your Khorn are great, I think it will be easy to restore the filter, at first it will just replace the old capacitors with new ones. For the repair of the plating it will depend on your dexterity to tinker😎
  16. Yes and that would be great, they would put the new K-771 tweeter I hope someday we can buy this K-771 to upgrade our Heresy III and CWIII
  17. πŸ‘ https://www.hifinews.com/content/klipsch-la-scala-al5-loudspeaker-roy-delgado 😎
  18. Mike's AL5 ME are extraordinary, especially with all these signatures behind πŸ˜‹ I also like those of Docreid, sober and so beautiful 😍
  19. I am in Europe and I received my Cornwall III in 2016 here in France from Germany, it was a long trip. Osiris the importer of Klipsch packed the cartons very well on a pallet with film, this contributes to the fact that the carrier does not drop the cartons and that way the speakers are never damaged. The quality of the packaging by the sender is very important πŸ˜€
  20. Hello ! I finally changed the original MAE yellow caps for superb MKP Jantzen Superior Z-CAP red on meddle and high: the result is beautiful, more openness, detail and finesse, as if a veil it was up. I am delighted with this change πŸ˜€ I changed cap 3.5 Β΅F of 12db/oct for middle and 1.75 Β΅F and 2.5Β΅F of 18db/oct for treble. I measured all the caps to find the right values and to make the most fair compared to the original filter πŸ˜‹
  21. The current replacement in MicroLine is VMN40ML, beware the new VTF becomes 2g. If you prefer Shibata it will take VMN50SH, but it is more expensive.
  22. In my opinion an auto bias valves amp is ideal for beginners. As you have the budget, you could ask MATT FORMANEK if he has this for you. His amps are guaranteed for life, it's a good thing for the beginner Euphoria Penthode is great for Forte https://www.toolshedamps.com/euphoria-stereo-amplifier-details Matt is on the forum : https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/profile/61896-toolshedamps/ 😎
  23. Hi, I also use a SLi 50 first version 2x30W class A of 1996 with my CWIII, it's a perfect wedding! πŸ‘ I love the look of P.W.K amps. Edition, Euphoria Stereo 2a3 / 45 of ToolShedAmps 😍 I'm sure their sound is great 😎
  24. I also have CWIII and I use modern Mullard Russian EL34 on my Cary SLi 50 first version in 2x30W class A, it is also automatic bias. The other tubes are Svetlana NOS 5U4G / 5C3S rectifiers, Psvane 12AU7 T Mark II and finally Psvane UK 6SN7. The result of listening with the Cornwall III is very soft and never aggressive, in my opinion Klipsch speakers are not the problem at home 😜 A picture of Cary when he was equipped with the same set, but with 6CA7 JJ, it was also very soft in the treble I agree with everyone, try to change the input tubes for better results
