  1. weather looks ok for 72 hr's… but then again, water is wet lol, whether you're floatin' in it, or under it... Ya'll have a great time, don't forget your coffee pot and 2 lb's of Mayorga, or if you need some fishin' bait, you could always pack a spare can of McCrappee…. enjoy, we look forward to some good Post Cards and ya'lls safe return..
  2. Be careful on this particular road... Not sure if you wear glasses, but seeing your avatar lead's me to suggest this... polarized flip-down sunglasses.

convenience associated with rain, eventually lead's to one or two new hobbies... albeit mud lead's to pressure washers or maybe parasailing...
  4. '81 vs '91 is understandable, given the theory of a keyboard... and wireless can be done in lieu of re-Sheetrocking your home... but isn't each speaker in and of its' own territory worthy of a dedicated amplifier surrounded in a room by diffusion panels...
  5. truly an interesting question, nevertheless, usually only seen on a form, and filled in with a reply as what was going on last weekend (for me) but the time tested essence of a hobby carries on for decades... having a shop bench in the garage typically turns into new storage box identified with labels and a recycle bin, or seeing an interesting guitar and figuring something better and buying 230 parts on line which eventually turn into a craigslist habit, or satisfying a fascination with a purchase of a twelve dollar bottle of beer, or recently, trying to get mileage out of a roll of paper towels, and telling the kid's about it... but since form's only have one line to describe your hobby, woodworking works wonders while whistling...
  6. for comparison … inside design philosophy
  7. any question's - No ; any comments lol, Yes … o O (over easy on a lower flame) and (adjust the levelers under that oven to keep the yoke in the middle) and (make your toast while cooking bacon to let the butter melt while mixing a screwdriver) and (bacon packages should have a warning label about not surfing the internet while cooking, or one could forget what's sizzlin') and (don't buy McCrapee coffee) and (drive safely like there's a glass of water on the dashboard) O o …
  8. … only to point out a few other future detail's to be discovered with a listening trial, would be the replacement of the 1-R crossovers, which became the type A, and the drivers too, although relic, and attractive with serial numbers, would need the OP's approval.
  9. The plywood concern's my thoughts about "Mid 60's" and the absence of any past ID label adhesive residue... and that Home Depot looking AC Stamp...
  10. . o O (I can imagine the smiles were from a conversation mentioning nice 402 horn's foxes) …. lol
  11. except the 76 , because they only go up to 70.... so the creative part would be 7+6 for 13 or 1 or 5, or 2.... cheers
  12. ... I should explain my picture (above) … well... I couldn't find a picture of my chair... so one can only imagine that the guy's who invented cable's got tried of rope, then Ben was flying a kite, but what was first, the record or the speaker lol...
  13. … I have the same memories about old trucks, strange cat's, and band aid's, it's hard to post a positive front page headline for a sentimental Monday following a good old dog story... thus... i'll just pass on loading a picture of my cat during this moment of grieve and triumph with man's best friend...
  14. KC & Cinc, Great Game Sunday Night, especially better with Dos Equis and a Big Screen
  15. could the gas be bad ? have you filled up any other car's from the same station, same grade.... and the vac leak "could" be an egr valve (one of at least 10 things as you know)
  16. man, that's a tough code to trace down - I found a Chrysler OBD code analysis for the p0300, that has quite a few options to check for the DIY guy, like, here's just a copy paste for your vac leak, if that's it... holar if you want the url... NOTE: One possible way to identify vacuum leaks around an inlet manifold is to spray a NON-FLAMMABLE aerosol spray onto mating surfaces while the engine in running. Note however that this is not a foolproof method, but if the spray reaches the site of the leak, the way the engine idles will change as the leak is temporarily plugged with the spray. This method can also be used to identify leaks in cases where many vacuum hoses are arranged so closely together that it prevents easy inspection of each individual line or hose.
  17. note - I ventured into the OP link (49 min:08 sec) this morning, before the sun came up, and gathered the assumption that low cost components, are target marketed and priced for the volume of consumer complaints that can be realistically handled when failure occurs, ie… 30 seconds of evaluation or toss...
  18. lol... that couldn't be the post at the top of the page could it …. I mean, like it's the nicest day I've seen in a while, but there's a paint brush waiting and there's a State Fair having it's last day, today... and there's a bucket list of wonder's awaiting us all... it's easy to see how a rotating sliding string (cable) aligns with the radio station faceplate, but impossible for the typist to see how a digital frequency indicator displays its' accuracy, brilliantly... but alas, wrong coffee, nope, jump to topic number three without crossing the penalty line... so essentially, volume was mentioned in the past, but without further ado, crank-it (one way or another) and with the end, as in how all things happen afterwards, a cocktail forth-coming... but isn't page two necessary, as in reintegrating the building process plan's - Yes ! - but I regress till this garage project nears completion, for economical practicalities'...
  19. … an often overlooked solution, never discussed in any thread, would be the relative effect of chocolate milk with dream's....
  20. … it seems like, the original radio tuning knob was invented by a guy fascinated with a cable in a dry cleaners rotating bagged clothes system, so much so, that it evolved into a car wash drive through to use the technology further, once digital tuning evolved for radio's.... in the short course of topic's encountering trial and error, the never discussed method of "wrong" coffee was left to the guy IMO who thought a 12" servo dial for the volume under the chassis was the ticket, but what I would imagine, is that …. cocktails resolved more intricate details, eventually prompting the lottery....
  21. 8 minutes till cut-off lol edit lol - I pick my numbers from buying 20 tickets, then seeing what didn't pop up... and going for it again... watch 1,2,3, 8, 39 (4) lol,
