  2. https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/ele/d/seattle-speakerlab-factory-cornerhorn/7386903666.html These are the good early plywood units...
  3. direct predecessor...you can definitely see the influence of the Shorthorn (S version particularly) in the long vertical rear port in the early Cornwalls...also shares the smaller woofer opening like the early cornwalls... This "T" version is claimed to have more bass extension than the more common "S" version Don't mean to hijack the for sale thread...these are some of the rarest Klipsch units out there...hopefully they find a good home (with someone that will provide post purchase follow up with setup pics!!)
  4. So Cal prices tend to be higher...
  5. related topic: Interesting power cord kit build instructions from Bottlehead: https://bottlehead.com/bottlehead-power-cord-kit-assembly/
  6. The foam trick assumes your walls are fairly square and free of tough spots like windows, doorways, etc. Given your current placement, the left side with the window casing would rule that option out IMO. With the sealed back, you also will have some flexibility in determining how far out in your room the "sweet spot" is with the stock setup.
  7. Strongly suggest you add the backs (false corners)...I installed my khorns with the foam pipe insulation that many recommend, but didn't get the "magic" until I really pushed hard and pressed them into the corners, making a much more airtight seal...changes the entire high/low frequency balance...the bass was totally different and the shrillness disappeared for me (except on bad recordings) Suggest you try this first before other mods...couple cheap sheets of 3/4 " mdf and "Bob's your Uncle"
  8. https://spokane.craigslist.org/ele/d/spirit-lake-klipsch-heresy-speakers/7376871402.html need some cosmetic TLC....could be HII's
  9. Just buy a used Crown D-75 (a) for half your budget...you'd be surprised how good it sounds with the Klipsch stuff. I bought a couple just to get my toes wet with bi-amping/dsp and they surprised me with the quality of sound they enable from my H-II's and LaScalas. The L & R Gain controls and the balanced inputs are a bonus IMO. You may want to save a bit more for a decent tube combo.
  10. This one looked like good art (particularly when I was 16)... http://www.matiklarweinart.com/en/gallery/annunciation-1961.htm
  11. https://portland.craigslist.org/clk/ele/d/vancouver-klipsch-heresy-700/7371200895.html Add some new grills and you have a real bargain IMO...
  12. better question: is someone more protected against Covid-19 with a mask or with no mask?
  13. My three sets of AAs from various vintages do not have the additional inductor. I believe the 0.4 mH was added by by forum member John Albright to tame the midrange for those that like a bit reduced energy in that frequency spectrum. Cheap enough to try it with or without to see what your preference is.
  14. Could be a scratchy pot....It was making a weird low volume scratchy noise in the mid-range along with the regular music sound....swapped amps, issue went away. Anyway I found one...in transit now. I'll replace and diagnose the other one later.
  15. nice score for someone local.. https://spokane.craigslist.org/ele/d/coeur-alene-harmon-kardon-630-receiver/7364560330.html
  16. beautiful as well...I have one of his preamps...Mr. Kimball puts out a great product ! GLWTS
  17. In my own transactions, I have had good luck resolving any disputes (and getting refunds) if product is defective and/or not as advertised on eBay...just my 2 cents...
