Do you have a picture of this one you can post here (front view, and rear showing the horns and drivers if possible)? Might assist with the identification....

which mounting brackets for K-510 w 2" exit driver?
hanksjim1 replied to hanksjim1's topic in Technical/Restorations
Just did...thanks! -
Interested in adjustable brackets/mounts that can be used with the K-510 and a heavy 2" exit compression driver. Ideally I'd like to be able to adjust height and angle. I already have the drivers and the horns, so I am looking for brackets that can be purchased separately and not as part of a bundle (links appreciated). I attaching a pic of one example

my 2 cents: new capacitors, stay with AA unless you change components (keep woofers)....

Interesting dilemma...can you hear them both? It might help you decide if you want to part with the extra $3K.

If we are looking at low wattage kits, here is a Spud Amp kit that is a serious performer for about twice the price of the Tube Cube 7 (US Made, quality parts): https://spudkit.com/

Would I be able to sell my 1979 LaScalas?
hanksjim1 replied to audiojerry's topic in General Klipsch Info
Yes. IMO the LS loudspeakers, without the Eliptracs, should sell quickly at $1,200. Others will likely chime in as well. Best place to sell everything quickly, including the upgrades, is HERE! Post them all in the Garage Sale section. -
Have you compared it to a stock diaphragm?

IMO you would probably end up with more $ if you sold the upgrades separately from the stock LS units... -
As I understand it, the Cobrefex (early versions were metal, later were ABS) is good below 400HZ and has been compared favorably versus the K-400 and Altec 511b...it was also used effectively in the University Classic, Dean, S8, etc.
