I’d say just verify all screws are tight and not stripped in the wood, but unless it’s rattling it’s probably fine since it’s a ported speaker and not sealed like a Heresy I.

I unfortunately don’t know titles to point you to, but I listen mostly to Pandora and have a Dire Straits station. They play lots of solo and collaborations and I’ve enjoyed most all I’ve heard from Mark. I don’t really think you can go wrong.

Missed your reply. At this point I’m enjoying it. I’m questioning my source. It’s bright, but there’s something else there. I’m using an old iPhone with pandora and some things are better than others obviously. Determining good from better is the trick. Gonna go for a CD player next.

Opposite wall from my CW and LS is a pair of Polk Audio SDA SRS. I also have Infinity RS3b in storage.

Mine are fiberglass and I’d like to not change the texture. I’m thinking satin black lacquer for the face and a flat white for the logo. As for the midhorns if they are aluminum has anyone ever polished them? The paint is coming off mine anyway and I think it’d look good with SMAHLs and the trim. Thank you for your help and advice.

Pretty much what I had in mind. Still debating on how far I wanna take them right now. I’m starting to like the patina, but going to refinish the HF face in “fauxtina” or just the logo. They seem to be the most worn. What sort of paint should I use on the face and logo? Lacquer? Are the midhorns pot metal or cast aluminum?
