Johnlw7 Posted November 10, 2009 Share Posted November 10, 2009 My son Matthew is in the 1st Battalion Ninth Marines.He is the finest son a father could ever have.He will be going to Afghanistan within a few months.When I asked him why he wanted to join.He said:So my little brother doesn't have to go.He has a wonderful One year old daughter and wife.He could have attened the college of his choice,but chose a military career instead.I thank all who are serving and remember those who have fallen.Like what you have thank a veteran.
