Justin,

I can't find it! cwm6.gif

I used the search to find any combination of: "scan", "frequency response", "rf7", "rf-7", "justin_tx_16" and all I could think of.

After sometime looking in all the results, Im unable to find it.

If you can be a bit more specific, which discussion was, a word you used, anything, it will be much easier.

i posted two reviews of the RF-7's, one from Home Theator Magazine and one from Sound and Vision. Both said the magazine name in the title subject, i think... maybe i can find my old Sound and Vision magazine and rescan it. Where could it be....

Ok I agree the RF-7's are not as high quality, and lack the linearity of the Dynaudio Contour 3.3's but to say "No Highs, No Lows, Must be RF-7's" is plain dumb.

The RF-7's have ear bleed style highs and gut busting lows. LOL Not a speaker for the audiophile who likes to listen to MEGASUPERAUDIO CD chamber music boredom deluxe.

84% a very low score for sound quality! Even low bro style Dynaudio Audience scored above 90%(well the reviewers awarded them over 90%).I will not trust this mag ever again.

I AGREE!

I've read this mag a few times and they gave Pinnacle's ghetto blaster speakers a 95% there in abouts.

Where do we find the crack these guys have been smoking?

Look around the back flower bed at Dr. Amar Bose's house... I htink he hides it in the pot (hehe) of lemon grass.

The results are interesting, in many ways. I have been doing a research on objective evaluation techniques and their correlatives to our subjective feelings. One not so obvious thing I have learned is that frequency response tests are overrated. They do not apport an important amount of information.

And of course, the results on the RF7's, which are highly valuated by the ears of most people, are another step in the confirmation of this.
