Moderators dtel Posted May 28, 2015 Moderators Share Posted May 28, 2015 OK not a good pic at all but it was a surprise. The rain stopped so I was walking in the yard and heard a noise and looked. The camera focused somewhat on the trees and I didn't have time to fix it, but this plane looks a little low to me. I was surprised how quiet it was being so close for a big plane.

If 4 engines it is a C-130, or 130J, if it is a twin it is a C-144, made in Spain. I think it looks to be a 130.Great photo. Moderators dtel Posted May 29, 2015 Moderators Share Posted May 29, 2015 I was doomed from the start. It does look like trouble will happen eventually, if not watched closely.
Moderators Travis In Austin Posted May 29, 2015 Moderators Share Posted May 29, 2015 That is a C-130J "Flying Jennie" out of Keesler, one of about 10 that they have there.
Moderators dtel's wife Posted May 29, 2015 Moderators Share Posted May 29, 2015 We aren't far from Keesler, even as the "crow flies". Just really strange to see them flying that low.

JL Sargent
Full Range, did you notice that the reflection of the roof in the water has more detail than the actual roof. Cool.

It does look cool I would say that I stopped at least 200 feet from the building and was fortunate to be going past just at the right time of day for great light

Guest Steven1963
Expanding my horizons. My son shoots cars but doesn't know how to use lighting. I know how to use lighting but I've never shot cars. So we decided to learn together.

Pintoracer
Goota Have It Green. Definately a great color on the Mustang. I'm currently working a deal on a 2015 Stang in Deep Impact Blue. Great Pic.
