Peach Schnapps, Bacardi and OJ.

Dang sweet and a kick in the pants too.

Got this because they were out of my single barrel that I like a week or so ago. Smokey, dark or spicy, it's good but not as good as I've heard tell. My pallette likes the other clean woody flavor better. This will work for a few more weeks here though.

& that might be why it tastes the was it does with some ice chips!

Not disappointed, but I'll go back to my four roses single barrel when this tee-totaler finishes this!

*If I could still get some Blenheims Ginger Ale around here this would be a great mix.

I’m still working on a bottle of Weller Antique -- been spending more time with the Fortaleza Tequila.

I've looked for real Tequila but it's behind the glass now-a-days.

Jose Cuervo was a literal trip for two at a time back in the day!!

Guess they finally realized what I've known forever.

Tequila isn't a drink, it's a drug.

The Fortaleza is very good in my opinion. Reasonably priced at about $50  Easy to drink.

Stand By Your Man was funny, too. The whole movie is classic.

speaking of classics

I watched Up in Smoke yesterday. Ya see those logs TommyChong is using for drumsticks?

Hmmmmmm.  Weller 12 has to be right up there.   I've got a couple bottles at the house that I think may be better but I won't open them till I have seconds to replace them with.  Colonel E H Taylor is very good (to me) as well.  If you tell me you'll be at the pilgrimage I'll bring a bottle of each.

Best is certainly subjective though.   You may not like what I do.

Can we pilgrimage at my house?  I certainly am no Bourbon expert; but do enjoy trying new ones. I have an open bottle of Weller Antique and one of Fortaleza Tequila -- i find myself reaching for the Fortaleza more often. Guess I’m a Tequila man.

The 12 is a smoother drink than the antique.  Less burn but same flavor profile.

Well I was having a cocktail so I guess it counts:

So I am sitting on the couch, watching TV, listening to our H.S. football game and attending to the puppy's belly rub when the back door is thrown open and my Aggie son appears unannounced. First visit since he departed in August.

What a nice surprise!!!
