Pretty good size project if you need 1000 pieces.

That meant going 100 mph, which was pretty fast for those old bikes, along with the twisty roads, since the Motorways were just starting to be built. Nowadays, someone could refer to doing the metric "double ton", meaning 200 km/hr, but modern sport bikes go that fast in 3rd or 4th gear, so it's no big deal anymore. That's interesting, I was watching a current MotoGP bike race a few weeks ago. They were at Mugello Italy. The Ducati hit a top speed of 349 kph, I knew that was well over 200 mph...it was over 219 mph...ON A MOTORCYCLE

They were assuming their self policing would keep government(s) off their back and force limitations. Kinda sorta worked until BMW broke out of their mold with the scorching 1000RR with nearly 190hp. Now you can visit most any dealer drop down $15K and walk away with a near 200hp, 450lb. rocketship that shreds the gentlemens agreement. The Busa and Ninja killed that agreement back in the early 90s, especially when the stock Busa hit 198 mph. That BMW is a mean machine.

Tarheel
Part 2 of car wash saga. Washed and dried the Volvo but then decided to try the clay bar treatment again. Not having clay bar lube I tried Carl's suggestion and tried soap and water. I had a Dawn bottle nearly empty so filled it with water and shook it up. Working small areas and wetting the car surface and clay bar it went well. One downside is the bar is very slippery and if it hits the ground instructions say to toss it. Now I feel safe enough to use it on the S2000. While I was wet and dirty I gave the Jakemiester another bath and brought him into the AC to dry and chill. And you guys think I don't know how to have fun

Nothing smell like a skunk, you know it bad when you pass a dead one on the highway going 70 mph and the smell still sticks in the car a minute it's pretty bad.
