eth2
I was talking about discussion concerning the SALE. But you knew that didn't you? Edited July 1, 2014 by eth2
CECAA850
This thread is about selling two LaScalas, right? Correct. 2 Lascalas that, by your admission could use a little TLC. Having them re-veneered by someone could be an option for a potential buyer. Never look a gift bump in the mouth.

ChuckAb3
Nice job on the refinishing. I'd probably leave them alone unless I could do the veneering as a DIY job. You shouldn't have any prob selling these speakers, especially with the Crites upgrades.

avguytx
I'm curious of location, too, and if they're for sale. Can't really figure it out. :-/
CECAA850
I'm curious of location, too, and if they're for sale. His location is in his signature and generally they'll say "sold" when they're gone.
eth2
Everybody needs a good straight man, thanks. How come you got the job? Oh, come on Marvel...Don't throw high, hanging curve balls like that! Answer: I got the job because I am "straight" and I am a "man." The other applicants could not meet at least one of those qualifications. (OK - Not a PC response, but I meant no disrespect). Someone is looking out for me. LS's in the garage. All is right with the world.

eth2
I am going to hook these up to my "returned" Phase Linear as soon as the temp drops. Got the amp back after my friend, who bought it for his son, gave it back. Seems his son almost got kicked out of the dorm for uncontrollable urges to crank it.

I think they are '89's, but the owner said his dad bought them new in '91. Original crossovers.
