I bought these speakers from my dad about a year ago and I know he replaced the horns, tweeters, and subwoofers. the drivers are in great shape and work amazing. when I bought these from my dad he had started to repair them, I planned on finishing them but never seemed to find the time. here is all the info I gathered from the tags on the back of them- Type- LS-BR the serial number is- 20T399, made by Klipsch & associates inc in Hope ark, u.s.a 71801. they are birch wood with a walnut finish. if you have any further questions or comments please feel free to give me a call! 308 430 8689. my name is nick, and I am located in Nebraska. thanks for your time

imahawki78
Are these still available? I've contacted you several times via the craigslist ad and only recieved a response to the first contact regarding additional pictures. Not sure if my messages have been caught in a spam trap or if you're ignoring me. I'm only about 80 miles away in Omaha.

imahawki78
Bummer. He had originally posted them on Craigslist in June for $1400 and I started inquiring then. Feel like I really missed out.
joessportster
as these are sold and we will likely never hear from the OP again I feel free to comment His pricing was WAY out of line with condition..............I seen MUCH nicer lascalas sold around the 900 mark This looked like ebay pricing dreams, you are better off to wait on a cared for pair, unless you can find beaters (like these) for around 4 to 600

Moderators Youthman Posted July 23, 2014 Moderators Share Posted July 23, 2014 Hang out here for a while. You'll find something nicer and prolly less $$. I totally agree. I bought all 3 of my LaScalas for much less and they are in excellent condition. Patience is the key....keep looking and you'll find a pair. I too think $1100 for beaters is pretty overpriced. joessportster
I sold a pair in better condition to speakerfritz (i considered them beaters with way less damage than those here) and I got 400 for them, If you hang around you will find MEMBERS know the value of the speakers and will sell accordingly I always check the post count, if someone has 1 post and is selling here you can almost bet they have ebay pricing, funny thing is they never really investigate the actual sold prices and they always seem to assume the highest price is what thiers are worth regardless of condition. as stated PATIENCE is the virtue, come often and you will learn a great deal about Klipsch values and Audio in general. Of all the forums I frequent this one is the most useful in knowledge and help I LOVE THIS PLACE Edited July 23, 2014 by joessportster

With all due respect, $400 for A set of LaScalas is a steAl. U can't buy Heresys at that price. Where do you guys find these deals?
Moderators Youthman Posted August 1, 2014 Moderators Share Posted August 1, 2014 U can't buy Heresys at that price. I see Heresy's quite often for $350 - $400.

They were newer and had the trim around the grill. I have bought a single, fully working LaScala for $60 before, and I know where a single LaScala is in Texas that is in similar shape to that pair that could be picked up for $100. It pays to look! muel
Unless there are chunks missing from the cabinets I just don't see LaScalas going for $400 or less. You guys have experienced otherwise so I can't really argue with that! I don't need any so I kind of hope I don't come across any deals... at least not for a while. As I stated, the $600 pair was near perfect. The $60 single LaScala was thrown in on the big purchase of TSCMs that I bought in Pittsburg, PA. and was an LSI with a small amount of paint missing but no chunks missing. The $100 single LaScala was offered to me when I bought my KP-600s was a stained older Birch home LaScala, no chunks missing, and I turned it down. My nephew still has the pair I bought for $600 in Tenn. Roger Edited August 2, 2014 by twistedcrankcammer

Moderators Youthman Posted August 2, 2014 Moderators Share Posted August 2, 2014 They can be found for $400, although that surely isn't the norm
