Jacksonville State is a good NCAA Division 1 Football Championship Subdivision (whatever that all means) team. Their speed and style of play will help MSU prepare for next week's game against the Ducks. Part of the excitement of college football is that you're dealing with young males whose prefrontal cortexes are not yet fully developed. You never know what is going to happen. If the Sparties read the hype and overlook the Gamecocks, they could lose, as did the Wolverines to Appalachian State. BTW, that rematch is Saturday. Any school that counts a victory in 1891 over Ann Arbor High School in its claim to most total victories, should easily rise to a rematch against the mighty App State Mountaineers.
