Moderators Youthman Posted March 25, 2016 Author Moderators Share Posted March 25, 2016 What we don't know is how well will / if they will be able to be seen. According to Seymour, it will work.
cincymat
"Yes but the plan is to have lighting behind the screen that will illuminate the speakers that can be seen through the screen." Oh, I see! That's a cool idea. One of many in this project. Mark
Moderators Youthman Posted March 25, 2016 Author Moderators Share Posted March 25, 2016 The desire is to have a lighting scene called "Reveal". I already have it programmed on my URC MX-890 Remote

Moderators Youthman Posted March 25, 2016 Author Moderators Share Posted March 25, 2016 Thanks Mark. It has been a long journey but I believe it's going to be worth the wait.
richieb
As I continue my struggle to cut one out of every four 2x4's straight I wonder - when is the Grand Opening? What is playing and price of tickets? Red carpet treatment/discounts for snarky Forum contributors?
The Dude
Do you have a thread on the remote and programming the lighting scenes? Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
Moderators Youthman Posted March 25, 2016 Author Moderators Share Posted March 25, 2016 Do you have a thread on the remote and programming the lighting scenes? I started this thread - The Rabbit Hole of Remotes (Just Ordered a URC MX-890) The URC Database has the Lutron Spacer Codes so you just tell it what button you want to use for that code. I designed custom buttons for the Lutron Page I created two images for each button. When you select a scene, the image moves down 1px and over 1px to give the appearance that it is being pressed down and I changed the light bulb to yellow.

Moderators Youthman Posted March 31, 2016 Author Moderators Share Posted March 31, 2016 Now we are in the final stages. Everything still has to be sanded (including all of the diamond pattern below), then stained, then varnished.

Yes, this entire project has been "custom" from just about every element. I'll say it again, you can never move. Nope, I might lose a friendship if I did.
