USNRET
Onkyo power in the man cave. From mega watts to current tubes. I could make some loud with this set up. They powered a set up of KHorns, Belles, Chorus, Quartet, Forte and Academy in different configurations for my introduction into surround sound. Today I mellow out with VRDs and Belles. derrickdj1
Those amps are beautiful and impressive to say the least. Now that is what I call amp porn, lol. Edited November 8, 2014 by derrickdj1
USNRET
You will notice that the top amp lighting is dimmer. In the late 80's some kind folk broke into my house and damaged the amp glass. The replacement from local glass business didn't quite match. On the plus side they destroyed all 4 boze 901s Edited November 8, 2014 by USNRET
Moderators dtel Posted November 8, 2014 Moderators Share Posted November 8, 2014 You can never be accused of doing something half azzed, that's serious. They are some good looking amps, just love the huge VU meters, very pretty.

deep3shot
The504 is best looking Onkyo ever built. There are not a bolder more menacing looking pair of meters in the business. If Darth Vader had a stack of amps it would be these. Edited November 8, 2014 by deep3shot
deep3shot
Is that a 506 on the top?
USNRET
Is that a 506 on the top? yep, that and the 5060 were my first two bought in Okinawa. They threw in an Onkyo towel and director's chair.
tigerwoodKhorns
I love the look of the older amps with the meters. Very nice.
tromprof
I love the look of the older amps with the meters. I am sure they sounded good, but those amps are worth having just for looks alone.
joessportster
I had a couple of the 504's over the years nice amps to be sure
willland
Beautiful rig my friend. No lack of power in that room. The504 is best looking Onkyo ever built. Though absolutely beautiful, this Onkyo(Grand Integra) tops them all. http://audio-database.com/ONKYO/amp/m-510-e.html Bill Edited November 8, 2014 by willland
USNRET
I was within one hundred $ dickering difference from buying the 510 and matching pre.
willland
I was within one hundred $ dickering difference from buying the 510 and matching pre. You would have to have one sturdy shelf to handle that 140 pounds monster. The 510 is one of those dream amps I have always wanted to get a hold of. derrickdj1
WOW, 140 lbs. That makes my hernia hurt, he, he. Oh, I don't have a herney, lol. Lugging that thing around might make he an alumni of the hernia healers.. Edited November 8, 2014 by derrickdj1
joessportster
I was within one hundred $ dickering difference from buying the 510 and matching pre. Think I would have spent the extra 100, Don't see the 510 very often and they seem to hold value
