Zappa Freak
Which setup do you feel would create the best sound stage: in a 5.1 setup? (KLF-C7 Center) Cornwalls front Left and Right OR KLF-30's front with the Cornwalls as surrounds in the back?
Budman
klf-30's front
jimjimbo
Interested as to the reasoning behind that....
Zappa Freak
Last night was a late night from Rock to jazz and then onto Blues...... 5 hours later (2 corrections with my Audyssey room correction changes) the KLF-30 in the rear just sounded clearer and more pronounced than the Cornwalls. Running a Onkyo TX-SR805 (ok here comes the cat calls) and was wondering if anyone had this orientation of speakers. May be my listening mode? running it in all stereo? Just thought the sound could be better. Re-capped the Cornwalls last year.
derrickdj1
This is the third post this week complaining about the Onkyo sound with music. I wonder if this is a conspiracy, lol.

ClaudeJ1
no complaints I like the Onkyo! Me too. I have owned 4 different Onkyos and set up Denons and Yamahas. Their WRAT amplifier technology handles all the Klipsch, EV, JBL and Danley speakers I've thrown at them.
willland
no complaints I like the Onkyo! Me too. Just no added "warmth" that may may skew the sound coming from the source. IMO, Onkyo sends it out in the manner it comes in, barring no over EQ'ing of course. Bill
ClaudeJ1
no complaints I like the Onkyo! Zappa fan here as well. Saw him live a few times. can you post a bigger avatar? LOL.
Fish
I'd have to go with 30s up front but Cornwalls are too good for rears. I also had a 805,nice heavy radio, it did die but I liked it for my theater room. Onkyos work fine with klfs even for general music. Zappa Freak
I could try the KLF's front and move 2 of my Heresy's as surrounds? Think that would match up well?

The Cornwalls are a ***** to move ( a lot like her ) When you use a avatar like that you must know people will say some things right. I mean come on. Edit: No way I would let the internet look at my wife like that. She would kill me if I disrespected her like that.
