House of Klipsch- NEW STUFF ADDED DAILY

Found some old BIG drivers today.

1133-8 x 2 1 works fine, other needs diaphragm

1132-8 x 1 passes signal and ohms ok.

last photo shows one of the 1133 (with connected snoot), attached to JBL2365 60x40 large format horn with cast throat and adjustable stand I built. Horn/throat sold separately.

I have no idea what to ask for this pile of 3 drivers but would like to see them gone. Perhaps the 1133's would work well with the JBL horns? They sure look badass - this monster is like 4 feet long!

TL bin to Electrovoice specs. Would make a good sub for sub/satellite PA or perhaps for a home theater.

I have two of the EVM 18B drivers, both were reconed by a reputable professional company in Indy - Spectrum Sound - who does all the PA and music gear in this city. Nearly no hours on the recone jobs. YES I KNOW IT"S UGLY, whoever built it used orange gel fibreglass but the cabinet is very sound with 1x2 bracing throughout.

I'll take those 301's.

Rockhound,

The 301's are awesome...you won't regret! I have a pair and they flat out rock, jam, thump....whatever you want to call it!

Here's a pic of my "Razorback" 301's...

Hogfan

Hog fan those are sweet as soon as Michael confirms they are mine we may have to talk! Edited by rockhound

The horn can be affixed either way. In this case I'm certain that the system was part of a very large cluster with multiple horns so there were likely never any horns mounted either way in these cabinets.  These were part of the house public address system at Market Square Arena. Part of me just wants to keep and restore them for that very providence. Stickers are original, when I got them I sprayed a bit of Krylon on the sticker portion to protect them.

Guys, sorry to be wishy washy on some of this stuff, but as I see my inventory dwindle and tell the tales of how I came to acquire some of these beasts, something tugs at me to keep certain pieces. A lot has/or will be going out the door soon and I need to be left with a couple of manageable projects. It's just that it was getting so that I literally couldn't find space to work in a 1700ft2 building. Geesh!

I sure felt better about my gararge after being there. ;) It seems no matter how big of a building we have, we tend to find ways of filling it up. My place is small and it prevents me from acquiring too much gear but I do wish I had more work space for projects.
