Moderators Youthman Posted March 19, 2015 Moderators Posted March 19, 2015 They are worth around $200 a set and Mr Colter would be glad to sell you a pair. Lol Quote
thebes Posted March 19, 2015 Author Posted March 19, 2015 So who stole the "n" from my stinking. Fess up or it will go bad for you. 3 Quote
mungkiman Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Don't know about the "n", but I stole the "ly" from badly... 2 Quote
Mallette Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 So tempting to steal his "n," but I am too much of a gentleman to yield to the dark side. Dave Quote
HudsonValleyNoah Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 lol, i have one laser line tag that came off a heresy grill. Those nice new ones that MC sold to me years ago are still awaiting attachment to my HMR's that Peter Bliss veneered a few years ago (as well.) Bottom line is, Thebes, I got one for you that will not break the bank. PM me if you want to. Quote
wvu80 Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 I hate to interrupt the jocularity with a serious question, but somebody has to be the designated buzz kill. Does somebody have a cottage industry making those badges? I don't even know if they are flat, or 3D, like a 3D printer could make, I've never seen one in real life. Related, is it legal to make obsolete style unofficial Klipsch badges, or are they protected by copyright? Lastly, how does the community here react to Klipsch replica badges? Are they looked down on, or are they considered necessary because old-style badges are no longer available? /legit questions Return to your frivolity! Quote
mungkiman Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 (edited) I never heard from any moderators, but the community received my last attempt fairly well: https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/123059-klipsch-pie-logos-nailed/ Edit: Thanks for the interest I have received in these, but the molds wore out, and I have none for sale. I know that if you could reproduce the original Klipsch black and white badges for the Pro Speakers that I would be interested, or even the newer Pro Klipsch Badges in both sizes! Roger Quote
mustang guy Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Would 3D printers and a little paint and some time pull something like this off? Quote
twistedcrankcammer Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Would 3D printers and a little paint and some time pull something like this off? I don't think it would for the original "KLIPSCH" black and white badges as they were metal, but maybe for the Pro Klipsch plastic badges??? Roger Quote
