K5SS
If my house wasn't closing this month, I might be making the drive. Price is on the higher side but I think they are beautiful! http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/ele/4997322934.html

Gorm
Its not even a matched Hersey. One looks like a 1 and the other a 11.
MORE KLIPSCH PLEASE
Its not even a matched Hersey. One looks like a 1 and the other a 11.I think it's that "dot" looking board, one pic had it the other pic didn't. The one pic shows both speakers and the dot boards and the grills. It through me off for a minute.....They look kinda cool......but for $1250 hmmmmm MKP :-)
OO1
yeah - 1250 big ones for 30$ of veneer and a pair of H2 -
K5SS
I think I would be a buyer at $1k. Is that still too much? I have seen local, stock looking Heresy's sell for around $750. There are 2 pairs on CL currently listed at $750. What is the going rate for Heresy's?
finallygotmyheresies
In my opinion $750 would still be way too much for H II's. $300~400 is a normal price.

I agree, but these "may" be "worth" the $750.00 with the mods and beautiful unique cabinets. Bill Edited May 3, 2015 by willland

prerich
The veneer used isn't cheap - that looks like Macassar Ebony if I'm not mistaken (about $250 to $400 worth of veneer if it is Macassar Ebony - Quartered). I'm confused however by some of the pics - one pic is definitely a Heresy I while another picture shows a Heresy II, and then I see a picture with 2 Heresy II's. A very confusing ad indeed. K5SS
I wouldn't know how to tell the difference. Can you explain it a little. If he is willing to come down on the price, I might still be interested but not if they are not matching..

On the last picture it looks like he has pair of Heresy II's but the first few pictures are definitely a Heresy I (Woofer is lower on the original Heresy).
Moderators dtel's wife Posted May 7, 2015 Moderators Share Posted May 7, 2015 The pics are showing two different sets of speakers. IMO
willland
The pics are showing two different sets of speakers. IMO I thought that at first but now I am convinced that the pebbley motorboard cover is removeable to reveal them as Heresy II's. Just my take. opusk2k9
I say Heresy II as well. The Heresy I only looked like they raised the woofer, because the woofer are mounted inside the cabinet (made possible with the removable backs on the original Hersey). FYI. They are now on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Klipsch-Heresy-II-Speakers-/181730903360?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a50018540 So, I guess we will see how much they are worth. ricktate
look at last pic it is one set of speakers with the dot baffle board removed. Could be worth the price would like to see better color pictures. But you could get Heresy 111 for this price and get brand new speakers.
