twelveblocks
I cut the cable a couple years ago and college football went with it, as most bowl games are on ESPN. I watch college football during the regular season, then I switch to the NFL for the playoffs.
Moderators Travis In Austin Posted January 2, 2016 Moderators Share Posted January 2, 2016 Iowa has no business being in the Rose Bowl, and it has been that way for at least the last 50 years.
wvu80
Iowa has no business being in the Rose Bowl, and it has been that way for at least the last 50 years. That will be a personal foul, 15 yards for piling on. I wonder if Michael quit watching halfway through the first quarter. By halftime I'm sure it was downright painful.

Wishing for Hayden Fry is probably more likely. But it is only a game after all.

wvu80
Ah, come on Big XII, it's the bowl season and you're not even putting up a fight! Third quarter and Oklahoma State is down 40-6. My Mountaineers play Saturday night at 10:30 vs Arizona State. Last chance.

Michael was at work, but didn't care anyway because it's the Rose Bowl, and Iowa shouldn't have lost against Michigan anyway...

The History Kid
Iowa did not play Michigan. I believe that they did play Michigan (State) and lost (their only loss of the season).

JL Sargent
Hind sight is 20/20 as it's said. Stanford vs Ohio State in the Rose Bowl would have been fun.

OSU would probably have given Stanford a better game, but I don't know if Iowa could have dispatched ND.

Ceptorman
Maybe I'm hard headed, but I still believe Iowa beats ND. You're probably right. ND has a habit of giving everyone a 2 touchdown head start, then trying to catch up.
DizRotus
Nebraska, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan & Ohio State uphold the reputation of B1G. Michigan State, Indiana & Northwestern do not. If Iowa defeats Stanford, then B1G wins 6 of 9.I forgot about Penn State vs Georgia. Apparently, so did Nittany Lions. Looks like B1G wins 5 of 10.EDIT: 3:06 PSU has awakened Edited January 2, 2016 by DizRotus
