Jim Naseum
1. Low prices. I don't paying 50-cents for any comic! 2. Variety. I want more than just super heroes. At least a section for R. Crumb, and Japanese anime! 3. Chicks behind the counter. 4. No sealed copies! I want to be able to read the whole thing before buying! 5. Classics, classics, classics! oldtimer
Nerds. Avoid going in if detected, they might be contagious. Hot nerd chicks. If detected and see if they are attracted to non-nerds. Life size cut outs for taking irreverent photos with same. Free posters for giving gifts to any nerd friends. A location far enough from my house to avoid traffic from undesirables who frequent comic book stores.

Nismo
1) They should know my name (and they do). 2) My pre-orders should be bagged & boarded (just like my women) 3) They let me know of new stuff (even before Previews does) 4) Imports & exclusives are saved for me 5) Plenty of Kotobukiya, 3A, Hot Toys, NECCA, SIdeshow & Gentle Giant

Schu
For me... its all about the size of the selection. Price is secondary. I need a respectable independent section because I wouldnt buy mainstream. Fyi... I dont particularly need a Robert Crumb section. That's because I own it all already.

Paducah Home Theater
I don't always go to comic book stores, but when I do, it's in Metropolis, and everything Superman is there. http://www.supermuseum.com/ I take my kids there fairly regularly. derrickdj1
If you can get the origin of all the original Avengers that would be a treat. Anime has some great adult comics. Death Note, Claymore come to mind.
Paducah Home Theater
I and all my friends used to collect these things back in grade school, but it wasn't the typical superhero stuff. We got books that coincided with the popular toys and pop culture pretty often, GI Joe, Masters of the Universe, even KISS. I don't remember ever getting a single batman type of comic.
