jimjimbo
Even though the winning shot was spectacular, I think the shot previous to tie the game was even more so. Avoiding a defender, both feet in the air, looking like he was almost peddling a bicycle in mid-air as he launched the long three....wow. OK, so when does college football start? Don't worry, I know......

JL Sargent
After beating the Spurs Sunday night, GS could make history Wednesday night going for their 73rd win before playoffs. That would be the most all time in the NBA. Edited April 11, 2016 by JL Sargent
JL Sargent
Tonight Curry and Co go for that 73rd win against Memphis. This game doesn't start until 9:30 central though. Tough for this old man to stay up that late!
JL Sargent
GS won #73, now can they win the championship? These guys really have it going. Could this be the greatest season of all time?

If they win the championship, then yes. There is an old saying that goes "you are as good as your record says you are." +++ Minor Thread Drift: Did you see what Steph Curry did to the 3-point record for a season? Nobody in the history of the game has ever gotten to 300 3's. Steph set the record LAST year at 286, then this season BLASTED it by 116! Some NBA legends didn't get as many 3's in their careers as Steph did this one season. Nobody besides him has even hit as many as 270, and he finished the season at 402! oldtimer
It hasn't been all that long since the three was introduced has it? Relative to NBA history that is. Only since 1979. Edited April 15, 2016 by oldtimer
JL Sargent
That graph gives a clear indication of just what a freak number 402 is and how crazy good Curry is. Simply amazing.
DizRotus
Do you think opposing defenses might be wise to Steph Curry by now and are guarding him more closely? The statistics indicate otherwise. Seeing that graph is amazing. Edited April 16, 2016 by DizRotus
