wvu80
It looks like the Russell Athletic Bowl WVU v Miami might be on ESPN instead of ESPN2, at 530 (basically right now) Wherever it is, I'll find it.

JL Sargent
That WV #1 should be taken behind the woodshed for a spanking! Geeze, two penalties back to back on two first down plays. Turning point in the game too.
wvu80
Stupid sport, football. Why does anybody waste their time following it?

Football teaches us humans the ability to circumnavigate the rules as much as possible and still be legal. Does anyone really understand holding? an incomplete pass? a completed pass? outside the (where is it) pocket? defensive pass interference? offensive pass interference? the degrees of (what is) concussion? JJK I certainly don't. My family is weary from hearing, "In my day . . ." On offense, we would grab our own jerseys and use only our arms to block. Actually touching the defensive player with your hands was "holding." That's why I preferred playing linebacker; it was like wrestling with shoulder pads. Today, holding calls are as subjective as figure skating judging. "Holding" could be called on every play. Regarding concussions, it's good to err on the side of caution. When I signed up with the Boston University CTE study, they asked me how many concussions I'd had. I estimated 6 from years of sailing, football, wrestling and life. After hearing their definition of a "concussion" I said, "Then I've had 100."

Few plays are truely clean these days and inside holding is taught for the O line now.

I would love to see an explanation of holding by Neil Degrasse Tyson using Quantum Physics entanglement theory. JJK

FSU is fast, with a very, very good running back.
derrickdj1
FSU is fast but, the Michigan offense with a good run and passing game is no joke. I don't think FSU is as strong physically and the second half should prove interesting.
