Neither am I....I'm kinda in the same boat that he is....at least for last week until thru the end of May....then my attendance at the 509th Parachute Infantry Association annual reunion, will kick my arse OFF OF THE WAGON for another "almost-a-week"...then back onto the wagon AGAIN!...until the next Pilgrimage! Thank God I don't have to climb back onto the wagon more than a couple of times a year....after a couple of short periods doing the low-crawl to my bed!! Quote
JohnJ Posted May 6, 2019 Posted May 6, 2019 Speaking of Uncle John @dirtmudd Timothy & Ellie J down at Asked me to tell my www friend thanks for their canolis! I gave my brother two trays and they had some a couple weeks ago. I know "don't ask, don't tell" but they had theirs with chocolate chips. Steve, Brad, Tom and last but not least Joe's best ever: 4 Quote
JohnJ Posted May 6, 2019 Posted May 6, 2019 Can't do a session without these guys.... take off eh? Like a lot of other bands their earlier stuff might be more simple, less complicated but geeze it was genius already when these first three records came out! 4 Quote
JohnJ Posted May 6, 2019 Posted May 6, 2019 Lot of good harmony in that one Mike. Getting more light hearted here with the goofiest one ZZ ever did. My newfound bass notes show up nicely with this LP, the well known songs from this one.... well you know why I shouldn't post those with the dual meanings. Nice pickin' & strummin' Billy 4 Quote
JohnJ Posted May 6, 2019 Posted May 6, 2019 Sammy H was so good when he was just..... RED. Did any of you folks see him in the 70s a few times like I did? He should have made it last: 4 Quote

Here is something....you might not be aware of....from her "Let's Sing Out" days in Winnipeg....and here is a head's up....while listening...a Good Ole Boy from Arkansas named Jimmy Driftwood (Battle of New Orleans) is to her left rear slightly...and just look at the AWE and SURPRISE on his face while she is singing this...TOO FUNNY! I'm not even sure that this is NOT in MONO!...but it is still one helluva performance! So without further ado...Joni Mitchell singing Urge for Going...in studio, 1966: 1 2 Quote
