walkingawire
I've got a pair of RF-7 III's, an RC-64 III, and a R-12SW hooked up to a Denon AVR-720W. I'm not sure if I am crazy/paranoid or not, since I just got these amazing speakers. But I feel like I can hear some slight distortion in the tweeters during classical/piano songs that I don't typically hear during other types of music. Is there something i can do to troubleshoot / test this more? I
wuzzzer
It's the recording.
Ceptorman
There have been a few cases of people saying the tweeter was harsh. Some even had crossover work to tame the highs. Another put some tissue in the tweeter horn area. You might try a search on here, there have ben many discussions associated with this. I can agree about harshness but, not about the distortion part. This is not a common thing.
Frzninvt
Entry level receiver and you did not mention what source you were using but your system is only as good as its weakest link.
mdrums
I listened to some RF7 III today compared to RF7 and 2 versions of RF7 II...1 stock and 1 with mod crossover...the III’s definitely are not harsh. Could be your source, the recording or the Amp clipping.

Give those boys some "proper" amplification and then check back. Bill

rebuy
You ever notice someone comes in, asks a question and hasn't responded for 2 or 3 weeks--if ever---I hate it when people do that.
