So I almost forgot, on the post 6 or 7 pages ago about connectors. German spades and connectors are the best.

https://www.vhaudio.com/connectors-speaker.html

I have done extensive testing on all of the connectors they offer, blind A/B, etc. I have identified the unique sonic signatures of each connector offered on that webpage and condensed all of the information into a 57 page, cross-referenced white paper.

I'm running a Christmas special and offering a 50% discount on the White Paper for the next week.

For what it's worth, I went with the Furutech copper connectors, as they were the only copper connectors I could find.

Carry on.

No, this wasn't porn-related. It was just ... ugly.

On behalf of the many, many ugly dogs and their owners I represent (yes Austin has an ugly dog contest, google it) I'm deeply offended by your comments. You will be receiving a strongly worded letter of complaint from the Mexican Hairless Owners of America (yes it's a real bread, and they typically win the ugly contest every year -We believe a fix is in but that's a whole nuther kettle of fish).

Beauty, unlike networks, capacitors, spade lugs, etc., is in the eye of the beholder.

@pcbiz sorry about the diversion. But this aggression just will not stand man. By the way,do you have a suggestion for a good NUC for audio streaming?

Free crimp tool with it?

No, I don't actually sell the items, I just provide my honest, unbiased opinions and commentary on the components. What you are paying for his my hearing AND being about to factor out the other variables when people make more than one change at a time.

Full disclosure: Whiskey magazine and Wine Spectator both said they had plenty of reviewers so audio parts was my next choice.

Hadn't thought of an NUC. I'm using a Schiit Audio Modi Multibit DAC for streaming from my Sony tv. I really love the PrimaLuna EVO 100 tube DAC design. That's my next DAC move.

I don't know who to apologize to; the dogs, the owners, the club, Austin, or the kettle of fish.

Don't tell that to a whale, but whales aren't fish.
Fish can, but fish have no feelings.

"Whale isn't a fish", that's right, it's a mammal.

Whales have the only mammalian ears adapted to underwater hearing, and the widest frequency range of ony mammal.

Fish can hear, but they're not meat.

I didn't know that whales are so noisy.
Blue whales make very deep low-pitched sounds that have been recorded as high as 188 decibels (at 1m from the sound source) -
