Heh, we stuck the Halloween masks up there because I've got a big blacklight up above the masks glow But I doubt they'll stay. And we have access to a fair number of field rocks around here, lots of neat rocks too as the glaciers dumped most of what they scraped up on their way here.I'll probably put more down there. It's fun to drive the little 4x4 around on them.

The center speaker is a KLF-C7 that I bought to match the KLF-20's upstairs but having a center channel for music is pretty lame.

I'll post another pic when it's done, but that's the general idea.[<:o)]

Yes, this is all a by-the-seat of the pants.....quite different from what I see that alot of you guys have.

Great setup!

What sub you using there Dingman? Glad to see you found a Heresy pair.

I have to admit, buying used Klipsch here is a thoroughly satisfying experience... upstanding people on this board.

Ha, you caught me, that's the one new speaker there. It's one of the $299 RW-12D's. It all works well down there since it's a small room, concrete with the back wall completely carpeted, and the side walls dampened nicely. More work to be done, but I'm not in a big hurry.

So I decided to chagne my setup from a huge rectangular room with vaulted ceilings to a smaller 11x11.5 room. Started Saturday and got quite a bit done over the weekend.

Here is the old room/living room/dining room/aquarium room/ kitchen. There was just too much going on in this area and I could not get the sound I wanted.

Here is some of the progress thus far.

TV Mounted with center channel, HDMI, and IR repeater ran into closet via wall and attic.

I chose this room bc it has a convenient lil closet in the right corner. I dont plan on using the stool for a center channel stand for ever [:D] haha. I plan on doing a floating shelf for the center. Since taking these pics, I installed the IR system in the wall below the TV and Center using LV cut ins and the proper face plate that was included in the kit. I also installed the other part in the closet, and to be honest the IR kit works MUCH MUCH better than expected considering is was only $35. I also installed shelves in the closet for the equipment.

The only bump in the road so far was not having enough wire to finish the 6&7 rear surrounds, but thats cool bc I have been rocking out with 5.1 and loving it. I plan to run wire for 6&7 tonight and I want to mount them the same height as the side surrounds. How far apart?

would like to post pics. How do i do that? This is unlike any other forum

This will help - Link. That only allows you to upload one image per post though. If you want to add multiple images to a post, you will need to upload your photos to something like flickr.com or photobucket.com. Then link to the image using the Insert/Edit Image icon.

Keep your images around 700 pixels wide or they will get cropped off in the forum.
