I had these in the living room for a while before my theater was built and the wife was pissed when I had to move them out into the theater. I put in a set of NHT's and that was a total joke to her. I had to get a set of powered Klipsch bookshelf speakers to appease her till I can get another set of towers. Anyway, here is my theater build. It's basically finished and I have not posted a new video on my channel yet. I did build my own custom Subwoofers. No one manufacturers anything like them. You can view see the entire build process from the ground up at my youtube channel. Furious Wookiee Home Theater build featuring Klipsch speakers Very nice!! 1 Quote
yamahaSHO Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 Not quite finished with needing to finish trim around the fireplace and paint the room, but I'm back with surround sound after loosing my last theater due to moving. I have been happier with my "theater" being the living room as it gets used a lot more. Previous theater: 5 Quote
Kamidioblitz Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 Not the best pictures, will post again when the rest is installed properly. Picked up second hand fronts, center and side surrounds. Upgraded from RF25 to RF82MK2 and RC35 to RC62. Added RS62 to my setup. The RF82MK2 are a nice upgrade over the RF25. Now need to upgrade the receiver to power all the channels. Considering the Denon AVC-X8500H. Kamidioblitz Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Took some better pictures after installing the new receiver. I bought a Denon AVC-X8500h to power a 7.2.4 setup. Now thinking of adding two extra height channels above the side surrounds. Maybe a nice upgrade. Definitely adding some extra acoustic panels to further dampen the room and improve the sound. The denon is a big step up from the Marantz! More dynamic and more power reserve. Also quite happy with the 2 channel performance. Although I do not use this room for music that often, also have a stereo setup in the living room, but not with Klipsch[emoji13]. Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met Tapatalk 9 Quote
Alt3rEGO74 Posted January 20, 2021 Posted January 20, 2021 My man cave consists of a 7.2.2 Atmos set up currently using (2) R-820F, R-34C, (2) R-41SA front Atmos, (2) RS-42ll side surrounds, (2) R-51M rear surrounds and (2) R-120SW. Running the show is an Integra DRX 7.1, Emotiva XPA-DR3, Custom Emotiva 8 Channel (eight-4-2s), Xbox 1x, Panamax MR4300, all rack mounted in a RED ATOM 27U enclosed rack with a variety of cooling by AC Infinity and finally vision supplied by a Sony XBR 75X800G. I did just acquire a set of RF 7's. I am refinishing the cabinets in the Cherry color they came in and am looking at getting a matching Center Channel. Once I finish them this speaker set up will shift. I will add pictures when I am home and can add them via cell. I love all the different set-ups, gives me so many ideas for my other house. As I said my set up is legit Man-Cave. But it RIPS!! 1 Quote

Kamidioblitz Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 That is a spectacular room....very nice. Thank you! I added some extra panels to further improve the sound and get rid of the white spot in the ceiling where my former projectors where mounted. Those are some crappy iPhone shots but give an idea of the new look of the room. Very happy with the improved sound quality. Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met Tapatalk 1 Quote

barjohn Posted February 22, 2021 Posted February 22, 2021 Well, some of these are very elaborate and have a dedicated space. My home theater setup is in my living room and has to have a high WFA (Wife Factor Acceptance) so it is not as elaborate as these. I have gone the wireless route so it have 4 RP-140WM speakers as fronts and surrounds, an RP-440WC as center channel, an RW-100SW sub with a SoundSend hub, a ROKU Ultra and a 2020 65" Samsung Frame TV. Where you see our equipment console, will soon become a fireplace and everything will look different. Once that is built and installed I will update the photo. 4 Quote

Kamidioblitz Posted March 23, 2021 Posted March 23, 2021 Added extra height speakers and configured them as top middle Atmos speakers. After adding those extra channels and the Panasonic ub9000 I’m finally finished! The top middle Atmos speakers fill the gap between the front and rear height channels. Although not 100% according to the spec this sounds terrific. Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met Tapatalk 1 Quote
