Colin
The average person spends 3 to 6K on their system, that makes me average, I budget about $500 a year for upgrades - I think that you are going to be very disapointed with the Krell/Klipsch combination in the long run, but in the short run, I think you will slam the hell out of your music, your neighbors and your ears ... ------------------ horns, tubes, subs, leather couch & female vocalists

ColaBear
DLUngurait, I was in a hurry and should have checked my math before I submitted my post. TheEAR
While I know this is a Klipsch board and its about audio I cannot ignore the events that took place several hours ago. First lets hope the terrorist bastards pay with thier lives for the horrific acts in NY and against the Pentagone. The NY World Trade Center disaster must be punished with no mercy. To call the monsters evil is a joke, they are the devil incarnated. Mighty Favog
I drew up an Exel file with all components listed. The bottom line looked more like a phone number than a price. The result I calculated was for replacement costs of all items, or if a produst was discontinued, the last retail selling price is the input amount. Please note: there is no listing of a television, VCR or TV/VCR stand. Clint Phare
I have never been able to afford new hi end gear. I have always bought hi end gear used. Audio Research, Bryston, LaSala's, Heresy's, Dynaudio, AR- LST's, Audio by VanAlstine, Tascam and so on. I think I have around $3000.00 in my system but it is all used gear. I don't know what it would have cost if I bought it all new. I do think used is the only way to go. If the equipment is made by a quality company there really is no worry about problems with it. ------------------ Just who is Dylan's Jokerman anyways?
