The absolute fact here is KLIPSCH has come out when these very same arguments were raised in the past and point blank stated THEY DO NOT MIND! They feel that Dean, AL, Bob and myself help support there products and are a welcome contribution. You know this is correct!!

Unless they come out and say they have changed this policy or state that I have stepped over the line. This is absolutely none of any of you three gripers business.

Craig,

I will post what I want where I want to post it unless the people who OWN this website ask me to do differently.

If it's OK with Klipsch then BY ALL MEANS continue with your marketing program, no matter HOW bad it makes you look!

I believe they have ask you to stop before! I've never been banned can you say that? Keep up the bull and I bet you end up gone again.

I'd like to hear from how many people think this looks bad. Its just a simple request that was way easier to do this way then the way you suggest and will most likely bring back better results.

Keeping crapping in my thread and see what happens. Your breaking way more rules then I am.

. . . . and just the other day I was thinking (yes, sometimes I engage the grey matter) to myself: "Self, ya know, kinda seems like the ol' K forum has been a bit boring as of late . .. " Thank the good Lord (redundant, I know) weez about to party again!

I think we should do a poll. What do you think?

Something like:

"Do you think it is appropriate for Craig to use the Klipsch Forum for his shameless marketing program for NOS Valves?"

Maybe that's too much of a "push poll" question!

How about:

"Do Craig's marketing posts for NOS Valves make you more or less likely to use his services?"

I think that one is better.

Something like:

"Do you think that Craig using the Klipsch Forum for his shamless marketing program for NOS Valves is appropriate?"

No that is leading ! I think it should be simple.

Do you mind Craig's post that reference to his business NOS Valves?

Be my guest Allan.

I have NO PROBLEM with you stepping in to an existing thread and offering your services or even posting references from others to help sell your services! Really, I DON'T!! When someone says "I need help" you should be able to say "I will help you. Just ask XZY for a reference." That's not FISHING.

But you shouldn't be STARTING any of these threads ("VRD Owners!" or "Look how well I rebuilt this C 22!") in my opinion.

Maybe you don't see it, but there IS a difference.

While it would seem directly corresponding with one's customers via a

mailing list would be far more efficient and appropriate, I don't think

the better alternative makes the lesser alternative inappropriate and

necessarily deserving of the insults and hostility.

Why must we always have this same bitterness towards those members who

have started a business because of their membership on the Klipsch

forum when they mention it on the forum. Shameless advertising at

times? Yes. So what?

Craig, Dean, or anyone else should be able to mention their business

whenever they want and corresponding with Klipsch members via the forum

shouldn't be an issue - everyone knows it is less efficient

particularly when dealing with Dean... If you want to take them

to task because you feel they come off as pompous or arrogant, then

attack them on those points. If you wish to mention you believe

they owe their involvement in tubes to Kelly, then do so - but whining

everytime you think they are 'advertising' is pointless.

Craig, you do owe Allan one helluva thank you. His post, while

disagreeing with your tactics, is the best testimonial you could have

asked for as Dean alluded.

PS. I don't think Craig has actually marketed his VRD's on this

forum as effectively or efficiently as he could have. Frankly, he

is generally quiet about drawing a distinction between them and

Dynaco's nor does he really correlate the benefits of using his amps

with Klipsch. Perhaps Allan could assist him with the marketing.
