I have never seen that. It should be okay to wash the foam.

Pretty amazing rig brother. I can't even imagine what it would sound like in there. Plenty of room to air things out. Sit back and play with it all while you enjoy some of your favorites and re-aquaint yourself with some of the older stuff you have. Chill and slow the mind down cause it's runnin 100mph yet. Time to relax and think things through cause those wheels up there are still spinning. It'll all shake out. Life's about goals they say. 😂

Thanks kindly Mike - and thanks for all the audio tips and suggestions on the thread and behind the scenes!

@kippy your setup l suggested listening is a pattern. you can visualize anything differently when personalizing them. I do hope that you become adventurous and experiment with your layout.

Like Icarus flying close to the sun, I am looking to swap out the MC-252 on HF duty for a MC-225. I think that is how it might get better. But is it the best thing I have ever heard so far? It sure is and I am grateful for that.

Oh... I'm in Chattanooga, but have no money. Too bad ... I sold the ones I had, same vintage. Miss them terribly. -
I think the flash from the camera turned my hair white. It’s jet black in person.

Is it just one of the speakers?…. I would return it personally.

They came this way brand new?

Likewise, you are welcome to listen to my CW4s as well.

Hi. I have not tried that yet, but sure will. I was using the internal DAC of the 8950, while trying to get the sound I wanted, I tried a Black Ice DAC with $400 dollar NOS tubes, that did the trick. Well that and better positioning. Now the CW4s are VERY ENJOYABLE for me.

Darn. Better luck next time.

That NAD looks sweet. I’d take that all day over a two channel receiver. - Yesterday

Need suggestions for a decent receiver for my Klipsch speakers

I would take a look at the NAD products. High quality and great bang for the buck. The C 3050 is magnificent. https://nadelectronics.com/ -
Where??? @Neener

The Craigslist link is for Houston.

Cabinets are obviously really beat up and need a lot of work to look decent. If all the drivers work I’d say $700-800.
