  2. Morning Guys! A little cool here to start the day. First cup under the belt and ready for another. Critter now prefers the porch to inside with the cooler weather. Works for me. Spent $61 on dog food yesterday....yikes! He eats better than I do. Cheers Gents

  4. A friend sent me this picture to remind me about how I looked back in the old days (and used Wildroot Cream Oil by the quart which, to my amazement, is still available!): http://i.imgur.com/pxypMMe.jpg Now, of course, I have almost no hair on top of my head so I guess I can't be cool any more! 5. dude, relax, I wasn't being that serious. It's the upbringing and lot of other stuff. In junior high I fought back the school bully and heard he committed suicide before 18. Some kids come from f....ed up households. My son was bullied by a kid because he was jealous, having come from a broken home, he had issues with his dad. I'm just happy to see kids defend themselves when pushed past a certain point. This kid's death was a freak accident, not the punishment he deserved. Maybe he was raised with Bose in his house and was jealous cause the other kid had Klipschorns who the heck knows?

  6. While your at it, can you remove your membership to this forum and go away? We have a really, really good group of people here and I don't think you are going to fit in.

  7. You may have something there... I suppose "drink creep" could be applied to many circumstances... I've done the verb and been the noun.

  8. I really don't know what you're trying to prove at this point. You came here looking for help in identifying and appraisal of said speaker under the guise of an interested Klipsch enthusiast. Once you got the info needed you revealed your true colors as a profiteer in what seems like a fruitless venture (for your desires anyway) so why not just chalk this up as a lesson learned and pass these on to someone who is really interested in bringing these home to enjoy?? I'm not knocking you for trying to make a few bucks but you shouldn't have to lie to do so or interfere / try to block any acquisition by a fellow forum member when you have already decided that the deal just isn't good enough for you, I mean, why would you do that??

  10. I am loving it. I am not convinced of the "break in period" but it sure does seem to sound better each time I fire it up. I guarantee you it produces more than the spec'd 90w/ch. Accessories4less has them for $888.88 refurbished. http://www.accessories4less.com/make-a-store/item/yamas1000bl/yamaha-a-s1000-140-watt-stereo-integrated-stereo-amplifier/1.html As mentioned earlier, I really want the matching CD-S1000 to go with it but the extra funds are just not available yet. I may opt for this instead. http://www.accessories4less.com/make-a-store/item/yamcdn500bl/yamaha-cd-n500-cd-player/network-player/usb-port-for-ipod/iphone/1.html Bill

  12. Hi, and welcome to the forum. Wondering what your decision process was for choosing the Heresy III, considering you've not heard them? Great speaker no doubt, but it may/may not actually fit your listening environment/music tastes.....There is a huge amount of experience here and lots of folks willing to help. Have fun with the journey...

  20. Maybe Tigerman will see the thread as he has posted some interesting wines in the "Fine Food and Music" thread. https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/134427-fine-food-and-music/page-1 I actually took a summer elective class in college, which was essentially a wine tasting tour with a few how-to lessons intertwined. In addition, I used to go up to the Lake Erie islands where there were local wineries and tours but I sure could use a refresher since it has been a lot of years ago now. Did you see the Romanee-Conti burgundy wine sell for $1.6 million for 114 bottles from 19 vintages between 1992 - 2010? http://www.businessinsider.com/afp-hong-kong-wine-auction-breaks-single-lot-record-2014-10

  21. open the attachment in MS Excel. the calculation is set to a horn similar to V-Trac FC260, it's the last calculation I did. copy each column numerical data in Autocad command line and press Enter then you can see the shape. you can export it to Coreldraw or whatever you need for a paper print or a laser router or a CNC. hope this helps. Tractrix_v1.4b.zip Edit: attachment file is the same as mentioned in previous post.

  29. The Duggans/Coffee is perfect, hittin the spot it is. The next "New" Amp will be in today, (i Think) over the weekend i hinted to the wife maybe she would like a tad more power, she stated, does not wish me to touch her Tuber/Khorn system. So the thing to do is....... Rig in the QSC wile she is at work, have it tuned up and cranking when she gets home. I mean iv got to look at reality here, iv already pizzed off a neighbor on my backside. Always wanted to put a little juice to those Khorns.

  31. Morning gang Had to check my calender, yep, it's Sunday. Cleaning the cave/guns today, not much more planned. Planning yet another Reno run, this time it's a real estate run, kind of hone in on where/location outside of Reno. Reno Nevada has every service Calif has, great VA if needed, but more important the wife likes it. Three things Nevada has going for it, great gun laws, tax's, people friendly. Oregon/Arz are the same. Oregon is a tad too wet, Arz a tad too hot. Coffee / Duggans is ready......

  39. Ah, Folgers w/The Duggans is tasting mighty fine. Yet another day w/10 Wpc, Haffler amp cannot go above that. Just got in my new hand held Db meter, looks like that outdoor test will wait till next week. Qsc amp should ship today out of LA, id go down a fetch it, but i really despise Driving in LA. If $60Bucks shipping saves me the nightmare, i pay it. Hoping to see a Bright and cheery Tarheel update this morning.
