I liked it for a nice coffee pot and I was just glad it's mostly all I could see. If Christy believes that story … so will I.I lost it after that comment. Thanks for the laugh folks. For the record I was wearing a tank top. It was just my strategically placed hands and phone. But I will try and push the naked chef thing to the food network and see where it gets me.5 points

Hey duder put some clothes on.....you're getting some of the long married guys excited It appears everyone survived the big day. I'm still missing the traditional feast and wondering if the Irish restaurant has leftovers. LF had 22 family members for dinner and didn't get to bed till 2:00 am. She is coming back Monday Off to walk the critter.... Cheers Gents5 points

From ad: Purchased new in 2006. These speakers are in perfect condition - no marks or scratches. They have been babied for the last 8 years. Klipsch only made these particular bookshelf speakers from 2003 through 2006. I still have the original boxes. http://springfield.craigslist.org/ele/4819374444.html No affiliation.3 points

Spent a few hours with my Farmer Buds, six in all were at one guys ranch. Walking in and seeing these guy's, each with a good drink in front of them playin cards, there xmas starts at 4am. Give my present to my bud, who loads it, turns in his dinning room chair, slides open the dinning room window and Kills one hummingbird feeder, the exwifes birdbath and one flood light on the Barn, not a bad shot, considering the loads were hollow point Magnums ! Yes he/we shoot from the dinning room, ahhh life on the farm.....3 points

I missed a lot yesterday. Neked coffee makers, BigStewMan's incredible bravery, plans for LF visits, and on and on!! We, on the other hand, had it pretty tame. Visited better half's family and made it home just as the snow storm was starting to pile up. Not too bad by our standards ... 7 or 8 inches on the ground. We have two 4 wheel drive vehicles so no biggie. Baxter loves it. Just wish my grandson was here to enjoy it too. Happy 12/26 guys. Later.3 points

From the frequency and length of the visits, I think Tarheel's LF makes "service calls" rather than "dates."3 points

I wish it was poof,,,,it's over My last post was at 3:25 this morning, went to sleep, got up an 5:30 watched the kids and grandkids open presents then got back on cooking. Everything was finished cooking about 1:00, everyone was already here, somewhere around 35 people. I was like a zombie most of the day and the wife went to sleep around 4 this evening and is still sleeping. We have got to get a better grip on this, 2 hours sleep with everything else going on is getting really hard for us old folks ! The only reason I am still up is I started sucking down coffee a few hours ago, but with that help I got all the leftover food put up and somewhat cleaned the kitchen. But it was all worth it, everyone had a good time and that's why we do it. Hope everyone had a great day.3 points

We seem to have as of today, a 7 day run with no rain, so uncover the boat, get the fans going and in the morning start the refurb.2 points

Hummm, well if that's the case, first, i would bow down to my new mentor, 30+ years in the OC, burnin out a wife every 5 to 7years, i could have had it made, just stickin with an LF, i could have saved a fortune. Naw, i learned early on, you want a Fox'y young waitress, and you want to keep it, you better marry it. (It's The OC Way). Besides, i was ALWAYS one behind my Bud's.2 points

one time i was on this jet and we were getting ready to land. The pilot says to put our seat belts on -- I didn’t do it. Risky? Sure; but, i didn’t care. That’s what kind of forum brother you have in me.2 points

we have to go to school for it. I mean, i don’t mean to brag; but, that cloud in the photo was kinda threatening. True, you could have been caught in a shadow, or worse random water falling from the sky, it could actually hit you if not careful, you like to live dangerously, don't know what else it could be.2 points

sorry for pointing that out. i think he just wants to see if anyone is going to “like” it. UPDATE: I POSTED BEFORE READING THE ENTIRE THREADS…SEEMS SOME OF YOU LIKE THE NAKED BARISTA. JUST HOW ARE YOU GOING TO EXPLAIN THAT? THIS COULD GO VIRAL, LIKE THAT MOVIE WHEN RAINN WILSON IS THE NAKED DRUMMER AND BECOMES A YOU TUBE SENSATION.2 points

Always popular, we have a big metal can with two sets that stays in the corner of the living room for the grandkids, it's usually all over the floor when they are here, it was yesterday, works every time, they never seem to get tired of them.2 points

He's going under the name of Jeff or Jeffrey Culver now and he just got me for $275 for a Marantz 2270 through PayPal and a CL ad. He had a great story about how the unit had been in his family for years and told me all about how his dad was into audio. Very nice on the phone. He had good pictures of the unit and sent me additional ones when asked. He told me he would call me from the shipper on Monday morning with the tracking number. Well, no call Monday. I tried calling him back on his cell (954-300-8096) and the number was no longer in service (burner). Tried calling the number we texted through (954-229-5476) and turned out to be a Google Voice line. Would never answer my calls. When I finally got him via the email he game me (sunrise2201030@gmail.com) he told me he would call PayPal to request an expedited refund. He said they would likely be backed up because of the holidays. They tried to process a refund, but they couldn't due to insufficient funds. How is that possible? He just got my money! Now no replies to calls, texts, or emails. How does someone do this to people? And to do it at Christmas of all times.1 point

Just saw he edited his post and will ship, but looks like rockhound may get them. Hubby said no anyway, in the last 6 weeks we've bought 2 pairs of Lascalas and he says that's enough for now. Maybe one day I'll get lucky and another pair will come up.1 point

Seems like I am always whining about the weather, but 60 degrees in upstate New York on Christmas is, well, unChristmaslike.1 point

Mornin' (belated) and Merry Christmas gang. A Merry Woof from Baxter to Jake. Fun morning. My better half loved her loot and that always feels great. Baxter, too. He was protecting his new tug and at the same time had a new tennis ball within reach, one foot on mine and another toy about 1/8 inch from his mouth so he could spring into action if the need arose. Bless each of you and thanks for making my life a little richer.1 point

The mac mini can do 24/96. I have music from HDTracks that I would like to listen to, so I think that the mac mini would be better for me. Plus I would also like to be able to watch the visualizer on my tv. Can the apple tv do that? I don't know much about them.1 point
