Meet with urologist a week from Monday and radiation oncologist next month. Before you tell me the Guinness here in a bottle isn't the same as in Ireland, I've tipped some pints in Limerick and Dublin... this is Okay.

  20. Yeah the Cinema 600 doesn’t show any pending issues online, because Klipsch is aware of the many issues and have admitted to not be developing any firmware updates to resolve the issues. They still sell the product and for an expensive price point, with that being said they don’t want to anger a bunch of customers by publicly admitting to this. They also don’t want to publicly admit that the Cinema 600 is actually not firmware updatable via the Connect app. They were working on a firmware update that would be installed via USB and that firmware update was suppose to make the 600 firmware updatable by the app and resolve a bunch of issues but they stopped working on the firmware and admitted that there were just to many issues so they are not working on or releasing a firmware update for the Cinema 600.

  22. Hey, I was just along for the ride and the laffs! Honest! πŸ˜‚ Best one I saw in there was during Indy week when another guy and I went out and his son, a cop from Detroit's inner city, met us there. About 4 guys were workin over the fems pretty good so he got up and went over to have a lil talk w/em. He never dropped his badge and they started in on him wanting to "take it outside." We don't know what he said to them but they were good boys the rest of the night. lol Worked for us since we got a couple rounds of free drinks. Indy week and you know how that rolls. lol Indy and the surrounding area is great. There's so much more to it than just the track and racing.

  23. My Klipsch dealer from whom I purchased my soundbar told me last week that the Cinema 800 & 1200 have officially been discontinued (in Canada at least). Speculation is that the Cinema 600 is soon to follow.

  25. If an active crossover is in the works I wonder if it will be analog or digital? In the link is an analog one by Nelson Pass. It is two way so two would be needed for 3 way system. I have not tried building one myself but it has crossed my mind. Retail active crossovers are pricey. Worth glancing over for those that are not familiar with an active crossover and it's advantages. https://firstwatt.com/pdf/art_diy biamp_6-24_ crossover.pdf

  27. Why does anyone care about thread being dead? So strange to me. If I am looking for answers I dont care how old the thread is. I dont skip dead threads. Whenever I find the thread, it is new to me and anyone else that comes across the thread after it stops gaining additional comments. So weird...

  30. No, to me anything promedia is not really Heritage, Heritage is what Klipsch did for many yeears before any of the other products came along, it's what built this company. The sub we were talking about is brand new and not even for sale yet. The only pictures of them are in this thread.

  31. Looking for some input. I recently inherited two Klipsch corner speakers built in 1979. I am trying to determine value. They are 52" tall, 31" wide and 28" deep. The only information Klipsch could give me is that they were custom build in 1979 for my father. They are working. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. And apologies for the pictures - don't know what might be needed.

  34. So... here's the Kalamazoo. After doing more research, they were made from '34-'42. I think I paid $40 between $50 and $100 It had an ugly, ugly wrinkletex kind of paint, and a painted Kalamazoo logo. I stripped it off and put some Grover mini tuners on it. You can see it doesn't have a Kalamazoo headstock, but a Gibson style. When I started removing the paint, there was a sunburst finish and a painted Gibson script logo on the peghead. At that point, it all came off. Looking back, I wish I had at least taken some pics, but I didn't. The style looks like a Gibson EH150. There was a small chip in the back, so I'm thinking is became a second, so they painted and relabled it. EDIT: Forgot to add... it is/was a Kalamzoo Oriole. A lot of the regular Kalamzoo steels had painted fret markers. Mine has a light wood inlay for the markers. added a pic of a regular Oriole I found online so you can se what they looked like.

  36. Cinema 600 bars are sold by the xxx thousands every year and sales are growing , assuming all Cinema 600 bars actually failed after a month , there would have been a recall by the manufacturer , but as of yet , there are 0 recalls on the entire klipsch Cinema Bars series . - test the product in your home ,if you have any problems during the warranty period , reach out to klipsch tech support .

  39. Hello! Anyone with a Cinema 600 can reproduce this bug, or is it only happening to my device? Title: The ((SUR)) LED indicator is not ON after an on-off-on cycle Environment: Soundbar: Klipsch Cinema 600 Model Number: 1068777 Firmware Version: 23.0.1 MCU Firmware Version: 65.0.0 Hardware Version: 2 TV: Sony Bravia TV HDMI ARC connection Prerequisites: 1. Make sure the Output from the TV is set to Sound System, and that the Soundbar is the default output source. 2. Make sure the Soundbar's LED Brightness setting is on High or Low (not OFF). Steps to Reproduce: 1. Turn ON the TV 2. Turn on all 3 options on the Soundbar - ((SUR)), Dialog, Night 3. Turn OFF the TV 4. Turn ON the TV Expected Result: All 3 LED indicators on the Soundbar - ((SUR)), Dialog, Night - are lit up Actual Result: The ((SUR)) LED indicator is OFF. Only 2 LED indicators on the Soundbar - Dialog, Night - are lit up. Notes: 1. The ((SUR)) feature, even though the LED is OFF, is actually enabled. You can tell by the way the sound comes out of the soundbar, and also by the fact that in order to turn ON the ((SUR)) LED indicator you need to press twice on the remote's ((SUR)) button. 2. This happens also when at Step #2, only the ((SUR)) option is enabled.

  41. You can search this forum to see if anyone has encountered a particular issue. The Cinema 600 Sound Bar Thread has lots of helpful information. That would be a good place to become familiar with Cinema 600 soundbar issues or ask your question.

  45. Always interesting to hear 'acoustic' opinions from different ears. I will note that as a dipole driver, it is important to keep it away from the rear walls. In my case, I have mine about 6' from the rear wall and about 3' from the side walls, which have absorbers on them. I have a set of 402's in my shop right now, and the sound is very different between the two systems. IMHO, the AMT is spectacular for a stereo set up in most rooms. My room is fairly large with quite a bit of acoustic treatment.
